Mercedes-Benz Of Tysons Corner

This was the second horrendous experience for awful service on a 2015 Mercedes S550 in the past four months from this dealership! A clear pattern of incompetency at all levels of management and service! Surely quite Shameful for such a fine quality car! We complained to the dealership GM and to Mercedes Corporate offices in Feb 2019 first of another terrible experience. That experience included such preposterous claims by Mercedes service personnel that if you wanted a GPS updated on a 2015 Mercedes S550 the owner needed to buy that part themselves and have it fixed elsewhere. Altho a part that came with the car Mercedes attempts to disavow any further responsibility for that service! Really? How many other parts could thus fall in the same category? Dumb, Dumb, Dumb!!!! Then we are now in a TWELVE (12) DAY DELAY waiting for service with agents not even returning calls!. Rude and extremely arrogant, impertinent and just plain unhelpful agents seem pervasive at Mercedes-Benz of Tysons Corner in our experience!!!! The incompetent technicians that seemed clueless were maybe the worst! The so called service "Advisor" even had the audacity to blame that poor service on a lack of personnel! Is that a customer's responsibility now to be sure a qualified technician is available? Really??? A really TERRIBLE service experience on TWO occasions in just four months so clearly a pattern of extraordinary poor service, waste of a customer's time, absurdly high costs and quite a disgrace to Mercedes craftsmen and to that company which claims "The Best or Nothing!"!!!!! If service at Tysons Mercedes is an example anyone considering a Mercedes from this dealership should choose for their own sanity ... NOTHING!!!!

They provided me with a really nice loaner.

They are okay. If there was a different option, I would be using them. They service 4 vehicles. Two of the 4 came from them.

They are expensive, but that is the dealership and the make of the car. They are expensive. I have a Mercedes, and I prefer to have a dealership take care of it. They are professional- the service writer tells you what is going on. Everything is done within a day or two depending on the type of job. They give you a courtesty call which is nice. It is convenient to my house.

They are not the friendliest people but i am sort of obligated to go there. I think they know what they are doing.

I would use them again.

It took a day for the work to be completed. The workers are very good. One thing they could work on is not waiting so long for an appointment.

It cost me a lot. I bought a new car from them that had a problem and they totally wouldn't make it good. They were rude to me, they were difficult to get along with. I finally had to go to a lawyer, to get the situation resolved. My money was returned to me in full. I filed a Lemon Law charge on them, but they didn't want it to go to court, so they resolved it by giving me my money back and taking the car back. It was a terrible experience. They were rude. When I called the lawyer the first time, I was very upset and I was very frightened, frankly. The guy had been screaming at me, he was just downright rude, that is when I called for help. This attorney was listening to me and she must have thought I was an idiot. She finally said, "Well, let me call them. Give me the number and I'll call right now and see what we can do here." She called me back about 15 minutes later and she said, "Wow, he yelled at me." It was a very bad experience. I will never use them again, ever. At the time I paid for the car, I thought it was a fair price. I didn't think I got a great deal, but I thought it was fair. The person that I dealt with back then was nice to deal with. That wasn't the problem, the problem was the service that I got on it. It was the service and the service people, it was terrible. There definitely was something wrong with the car. They did not deny it, they just did not fix it. I just felt that they should have taken the car back and corrected it, but they didn't. They would tell me, "We're trying to find a fix for it." That was their mantra, "We don't have a fix for it," and I would say, "But, I can't drive this car, it's not safe. I can't drive this car."

They gave me a loaner car for the day.  The work is always well done, very thorough and on time.

Our salesman was professional. However dealing with the used car trade In people was not very professional experience. I feel like they took advantage of the fact that we had preordered our car and lowballed our trade In value significantly. This opinion is based on research on several online sites of fair market value.

They used to have someone else that was doing the maintenance on cars and so on, now Penske auto does it. Since they took over, they no longer give us our free loaner car. The last time I went there for maintenance I asked them to look at my tires because I don't like them to get below what they are supposed to be and they said 2 of them were close and the other 2 were okay. They had a sale on tires so I said replace all 4. They were done with the maintenance in about an hour and a half but then when I wanted the tires put on, I stayed there 7 hours. I complained to them. The reason I say they don't give the loaner car anymore but I never expected that it would take another 4 hours to put the tires on.
They took me in when I got there a few minutes early. They did the maintenance part quickly. They have a very clean facility. They are polite. All in all I really like the place I was just disappointed at the time for the tires. I would have liked to have a better estimate on the time it was going to take.

I go to them now and they are much further away but they fixed all the problem for me and they have done all the work.  I had problems with the previous dealership that I got to.  I called Mercedez-Benz to complain about the previous dealership and they said they will check it.  Tysons Corner fixed the problem with my mileage and alignment.

They addressed my concern.  They fixed what they said they will fix.  They helped me as much as they could.  But to be honest, my relationship with Mercedes-Benz in general is a nightmare.  I don?t have a choice because I have to deal with them because I use the car.

The Service guy called at approximately 6pm the first evening explaining that I needed a hydraulic cylinder and a switch.  Estimated cost of parts was $1000 + $1500 labor.  They also recommended another $3500 in additional repairs.
That seemed AWFULLY expensive to me and when I refused the repair they said they could put my roff up manually for $280!  What was I going to do.  I hesitantly approved.  The next day I purchased the necessary parts USED for $400.  During the next week I took my car to 3 other repair shops.  None of them agreed with the Mercedes Dealer's diagnosis!*?
Now I'm stuck with the used parts!  I'm not sure if they are incompetent or crooks but I'll never go back!  $280 to put the roof up manually!*?  I feel like I've been robbed ... 

They were expensive. They took care of my twelve-year-old car. I took it back there because I want genuine Mercedes parts and I want technicians that understand what they're doing when they're doing Mercedes. It's my personal choice. They are expensive but it is a personal choice. I've always taken my car to them. My car is now 12 years old but it's running well so they take good care of it. One of the reasons why I take it to that dealer is because it's on my way to work, it's very convenient and they give you a free loaner up to two days. That makes a few difference. They're very convenient.
