I went in and looked at all of the available tiles. I was able to check out as many as I wanted to as long as I returned them a couple of days later. They answered my questions and gave ;me some suggestions. Very professional and friendly. Helped take tiles to my car. After I ordered the tile and it came in, they stored the tile for me in the back of the store for about a month until I was able to use them. Also, helped me pick out a lovely grout color. Would definitely use this store again.

This was not a complete bathroom remodel but Ideal Tile treated the job with great professionalism and did not make me feel that it was too small a task. (I had previously had the double basins and surface replaced when they started to look dowdy). Their quote was the best, they had the exact tiles and trim I wanted, and having them supply them made life much easier.

It turned out that the warehouse didn't have in stock the lighter coloured travertine tiles I wanted, but since I didn't want to wait, I was happy to select a slightly darker colour, and in the end I am completely happy with the colour.

I have not had the white tile flooring replaced since it is in good condition. Also we are retired and, if we stay in the house, may, for accessibility reasons, need to replace the bath with a full shower. That would entail more changes.

However, Tony did make a good suggestion - without any pressure - that it might be a good idea to buy the floor tiles that match the bath tiles, since the tile companies keep changing their range of products.

The $3000 figure includes the cost of the new faucets and shower fittings that I myself bought.

The job took three and a half days - the plumber didn't make it on day three because he had a job which proved more complex than anticipated - which I am prepared to countenance given the vagaries of plumbing.

I am new to AL and am writing this review a couple of months after the work was done.

Mo and Tony were great to work with (and we shopped around). It became clear that, with their experience, you could do all the legwork you wanted with other / design people and then simply cut to the chase and go with Tony and Mo for the final work!

Their price was competitive (but ok to negotiate), their service excellent, and the quality of their workforce high. We love our new tile floor and are finding the workmanship super.

BTW: Surprisingly, I see a negative review here. Having worked with Ideal, understanding them, and reading the review, it seems clear to me that the buyer should have done more to ensure communication.

I intend to use Ideal again for my bathrooms.

Absolutely horrible customer service!!! We chose Ideal Tile in Vienna based on positive online reviews - I can only imagine those reviewers had no problems that needed addressing after installation. Our experience = They retiled our foyer. The tiling job itself looks very nice. However, they installed a silver transition strip from tile to carpet without consulting us. We would have chosen a different color (which they do have available), if we had been given a choice. We plan to install new carpet and the silver does not look good at all. Unfortunately, we discovered the silver strip after it was already cemented underneath the tile. Tony came over to inspect and things went from bad to worse. He told us that he chooses the transition strips based on what he thinks looks best, and that giving the customer the choice was "unreasonable." My husband then went to the store to discuss with Moe, where things went from bad to worse again! Moe told my husband our issue was "ridiculous" and said he was "sorry Tony had to deal with our nonsense"! We couldn't believe it. I will say that they did offer to switch the transition strip, but at this point we refuse to ever have them in our house again. We accepted a credit off the bill, but they offered no apology for never giving us a choice in the first place, nor for their rude and insulting behavior.

I had contacted several tile installers to get a price on installing a special floor tile that I had obtained through a personal contact. The tile was a very high grade Italian porcelain tile and I needed it installed properly. I had already reviewed substrate requirements through the American Tile Council so I knew what I should be hearing when talking to contractors.

I took three bids. Tony and Mo at Ideal Tile were the most knowledgeable about the proper installation method and gave me a fair price. They made an effort to make certain I was not spending unnecessarily while making certain the tile was installed in the required manner.

They made a great effort to layout the tile for the most efficient use and the best design pattern. The floor looks great and I know it is installed properly. Everyone loves it. The backsplash also looks great.

Tony and Mo are great people that do the job right. They aso have a nice selectioj of tiles in their store and have access to much more.

I went in to Ideal Tile in Chantilly after receiving a recommendation for them from a company I had used in the past whose local store was closing. They had a fairly large tile selection and I was able to find several tiles that I was interested in purchasing. Khosrow was very helpful in pointing out the tiles that matched my description of what I wanted. After taking some samples home, placing the order was very easy. He even talked me out of purchasing more tile than was necessary (I was on the cusp of having to order another box based on my measurements, however even though I ended up ordering 1 box less than I thought I would need, I still had one tile left over ~ which is much better than 12 extra tiles!). Once I made the order, my tile took about 2 weeks to come in, and when I went to pick it up, he loaded them into my car. He was very helpful and if I ever wanted to buy tile again, I would definitely go back.

Tony, Mo, and everyone else at Ideal Tile was very professional and very helpful. They listened to my ideas carefully and made a few excellent alternative suggestions. Ideal Tile carries a wide range of very nice tiles. Their crew was on time and completely professional. When I noticed that the grout was coming out between the tiles and the wooden door saddles, one of the installers came back immediatley and solved the problem by using another type of filler. I am completely happy with their work and would use them again without any hesitation!

Excellent. We used Ideal Tile in Vienna, VA, for another project (entry foyer and powder room) several years ago. When planning a basement rennovation, we looked at tile at several tile stores and just couldn't find anything we liked. We weren't even sure if Ideal Tile was still in business. We checked. The store was still in the same location, Tony was still there, and we found the tile we liked. Tony provided an acceptable estimate for the tile and the installation. Working with my project plan, he penciled in the installation date a month in advance. We held to schedule, and his crew showed up and had the work done (install and grouting) in two days -- as scheduled. The three-man crew worked well together, did a beautiful job, and left the work site clean. Tony and Ideal Tile in Vienna stay on our preferred contractor list.
