Dulles Kitchen and Bath

Highly recommend and would absolutely use Dulles Kitchen and Bath again. They are the most responsive company our family has ever worked with. We did a complete kitchen overhaul and remodel, which involved removing walls and moving all plumbing. Patrick the designer and Joshua the project manager were incredibly responsive and communicative through every step of the project - and often worked with us after hours. As with any major remodel, questions and issues arise and both Patrick and Joshua listened and took care of any concern quickly and to our complete satisfaction. The crew, led by Javier, were all true professionals and did a great job. Given our horrible experience on a bathroom project a few years ago with another local competing firm we were skeptical going into this renovation. Dulles Kitchen and Bath delivered. On time. On budget. With great communication.

In April 2022, we used the services of Dulles Bath and Kitchen to get our master bathroom remolded. We are extremely disappointed in the unprofessional service we received from this company (owner Johan, project manager Adam & service crew leader Carlos). The project was not done in a professional, proper and timely manner. First and foremost, the customer service was non-existent. Not only was the company owner rude and uninterested in the work of his team, that lead to our complaint but the field manager, Adam, had no control over the servicing crew that was doing the bathroom. The following pictures show the unprofessional way this company has performed the servicing of our “dream” bathroom: (too short cut treshold & baseboard, filling the gaps with silicone; unconsistancy & horrible job on grout; chipped tile edges all over, which we were being told after the grout it wouldn’t be noticeable; unleveled tile placements; silicone work on seamless glass shower done very sloppy; etc…) After going back and forth with the field manager, Adam and Johan we have yet to have a walkthrough, to go over any/all imperfections, but since that never happened we decided to withhold the remaining amount until these issues were resolved. Instead the owner gave us a call & told us to keep the rest of the final invoice and that our project was done. Not only did the company perform unprofessionally, but sheer arrogance of the owner to disrespect the contract and close our service ticket shows you how this company does business!

Dulles Kitchen and Bath was terrific, from beginning to end of the total renovation of my large master bathroom and two other bathrooms. General Manager, Johan, listened and understood my style preferences and goals and created a wonderful design. Then spent lots of time with me on the selection and coordination of products, even going to various showrooms with me. Project Manager, Ryan, was my primary contact during the onsite work phase. What a pleasure to work with. He was always willing to listen and accommodate any ideas, questions, thoughts I had. He was very professional and always willing to go the extra mile. The on-site workers were really excellent. The same crew from beginning to end. Always arrived with smiles on their faces and worked long and hard all day. They were perfectionists and artists in everything they did, even making helpful suggestions I had not thought of. They made great effort to keep the dust and debris confined to the bathrooms. And they finished in less time than scheduled. I highly recommend them, and will definitely use them for any other projects I have in the future!

Great experience all around. From design through product recommendations and final selections. Once work commenced the team assigned was always prompt and courteous.  Any questions asked were always addressed professionally.  Project manager Martese was very responsive and always followed up. Our installer,  Cuzzo, was simply the best. Very thorough and helpful,  an excellent craftsman. Special recognition to  our designer Patrick; he listened to our requirements and delivered. All around a very smooth process. Any challenges encountered were dealt with very quickly.  If you are in the market,  Dulles Kitchen & Bath should be on your short list for consideration.

We are very pleased. The work & materials were high quality. Everything was done on time and they were very attentive to our needs. They worked with us on the design upfront and changes that needed to be made on the go. They went above and beyond to fix problems they encountered as they peeled away the layers. I would highly recommend them for any bathroom renovation - large or small.

Dulles K+B replaced several counter tops, a back splash, our fireplace surround, and our flooring. They always responded quickly to our calls/e-mails even though things are crazy now with Covid. The quality-to-price ratio was excellent. The work was performed with care and looks beautiful.

When we called the first time, we had a designer at our home within a week. One week later we were at the showroom going over our design and selecting products. A few days later we received our proposal online. Our designer and project manager were both excellent and very responsive when we had questions. The crew remained the same throughout the project and were excellent as well. The project started and ended within the time frame given to us. Everyone was good about wearing masks. We are extremely pleased at the end results. The bathroom is beautiful as well as functional. The quartz bar top was enlarged and installed in one piece and is a beauty. The new tile floor in front of patio doors is a beautiful addition. The designer brought everything together and the colors just flowed. We do have one suggestion that might help others beginning this journey for the first time. We had sticker shock at first and had gone over budget. It would have been helpful if on the proposal they showed the actual prices of items like vanity, shower walls, faucets, etc so one might know where they could cut back. We ended up over budget but would not change anything. Excellent company and we look forward to working with again in the future.

The salesman, Cemmy, took his time and guided us in selecting items out that blended into a strikingly beautiful bathroom. The crew showed up on time and finished the work in less time than original projected. The crew was courteous and extremely qualified. The site supervisor, Rashid, was accessible and very diligent. There were a couple of touch up items and Rashid and a couple of workers were there within a day to finalize the project. I would recommend Dulles Kitchen and Bath to anyone interested in a remodeling of a kitchen or bath.

Nice showroom with good material selections. Cemmy was very helpful in design choices. Work was done promptly, neatly, and beautifully. Price was by far the best of several estimates.

We could not be happier with our entire experience with Dulles Kitchen & Bath. We have done a couple of other major projects and several smaller renovations on our house over the years, all of which went well, and our experience with DKB was the best of them all from start to finish. Our house was built in 1972, and our kitchen hadn’t had a significant renovation since it was built. Our vision was to transform our main level, which consisted of a small, congested galley kitchen and separate dining and living rooms, into a seamless modern, open concept floorplan that combined all three rooms. This entailed removing all of the interior walls on that level of the house, relocating a door between the kitchen and the garage, and relocating the sink, stove, and refrigerator. The designer and owner, Johan, was a pleasure to work with. He promptly came to our house for the initial meeting, attentively listened to our concerns with our old kitchen and desires for our new kitchen, and within a week had a preliminary design for us to review. The 3D CAD computer model that he showed us allowed us to walk through his design virtually and really helped us to visualize what the finished product could and would look like. The design he presented us incorporated all of the functional elements we asked for in a very stylish, appealing manner with a keen attention to detail. Johan willingly accommodated a few adjustments we decided to make as we changed our mind on a couple of things to get to the final design. Unlike some of the companies we interviewed, Johan did all of this without any upfront fees. At contract signing, we agreed on a start date, and Johan committed to completing the job in 25 days after starting. About a week prior to the start, Johan came back to our house to introduce the onsite project manager, Sinan, to us and familiarize Sinan with the job. At 8:00 on the start date, Sinan and his crew arrived and worked six days a week until the project was finished. Sinan proactively communicated the plan to us, kept his crew on track throughout the project, and was very helpful and responsive in answering our questions. The crew expertly went about their work and skillfully addressed each of the challenges that came with working on a house that is nearly 50 years old. They were friendly and very considerate of the fact that we were living in the house during the project. They were conscientious about controlling the dust and cleaning up at the end of each day. Because of Sinan’s attention during the project, the punch list at the end was short and consisted only of minor items, and 25 days after starting the project, we moved back into our new kitchen. Throughout the experience, we found ourselves repeatedly thinking, “this is the way all renovation jobs should be handled”. Johan, Sinan, and their crew were knowledgeable, professional, attentive, and personable from beginning to end. Without hesitation, we would hire them again for any future kitchen or bath project.

This big and complex project was completed in a timely and professional manner. The project designer, project manager, and on-sight team leader were all accessible and responsive.

Dulles Kitchen and Bath did an excellent job in remodeling 3 bathrooms in our home. We are delighted with the results and would hire this capable and honest company again. Here’s why: 1. Excellent pricing/willingness to work within our budget. Other vendors were not willing to work within our budget. We estimate that we saved $20,000-$25,000 by working with Dulles. 2. Outstanding design services. Thanks to designer Patrick Kish for helping us select beautiful tiling, countertops, flooring, lighting and fixtures that fit within our budget. 3. Capable project management and execution, and excellent finished work. Thanks to Sinan (project manager) and Geovani (key installer) for a smooth, neat and well-executed project and results that fully satisfied our expectations. The team promptly corrected the few small errors that occurred without complaint. 4. Capable subcontractors who delivered quality work. 5. No hidden surcharges or fees. The only cost addition was for the installation of new plumbing connections for a very reasonable fee. (This was necessary because our original plumbing was worn out— a pre-existing condition that was hidden in the walls and impossible to discern before project start.) 6. Smooth, straightforward execution of change orders. We made a couple of changes during the project. Dulles provided pricing, got our approval before going forward, and executed the changes smoothly and pleasantly. 7. Pet safety. Dulles made sure that our cats were not disturbed by the work, and took care to keep the exterior doors shut during the job. This was extremely important to us. We recommend Dulles Kitchen and Bath highly and would hire them again.

From start to finish, we were very happy. We had previously renovated a master bathroom in another house, so we knew what we were getting into, and basically what we wanted. We contacted Johan and he helped us with the design (same floor plan) and choice of tile/vanities. He was able to schedule the project to meet my timing needs, and his crew was talented, professional, and easy to have working in the house. They finished essentially on time, at a reasonable price, and we have a beautiful new master bathroom that we love.

Remodeling job went very well from start to finish. Our designer Johan is the company owner and was very helpful with the design and selection process. Our project manager Sinan was very helpful and managed the job well. Johan and Sinan worked patiently with us through several issues that arose and changes in selection of fixtures. All the workers were polite and thorough and showed up when promise. Each day they would put protective runners in place and erect a wall of plastic sheeting to prevent dirt and dust spreading to adjoining bedroom. The primary tile installer Alfonso is a true master craftsman - his work was flawless. The frameless glass shower was the perfect finishing touch and we are thoroughly pleased with the final result.

The team from Dulles Kitchen and Bath were responsive and professional. They made sure they completed the project on time and to my satisfaction. They worked hard to ensure that the job was completed in a manner that satisfied and in many cases, exceeded what I was expecting. Overall I'm very happy with the work they did and would recommend them to anyone looking to remodel a kitchen or bath.

My bath project was recently completed and I could not be more pleased with Dulles Kitchen & Bath, Johan and his entire team... From start to finish, the project was fast, efficient and smooth. Johan was a gem to work with....even helping me reassess the project after needing to realign funds after an unrelated major house expenditure was required. Hannibal and team were efficient and extremely conscientious and neat....each day they left the work site clean and tidy... If you have any hesitation as to why to consider Dulles Kitchen & Bath, please know that my experience was excellent...I highly recommend!

This remodel went very well. We really enjoyed working with Dulles Kitchen and Bath. It started with the design. The designer was very flexible with us, gave me suggestions and also listened to my ideas. This continued through the implementation phase. Everyone we dealt with communicated well, provided us options, talked us through any issues which arose (small issues, but they do happen). The work was done well and on time. Good quality products, and created a kitchen / family room which is our own and what we were looking for. I'd gladly work with DKB again for another remodel.

Dulles Kitchen and Bath did an outstanding job remodeling our hallway bathroom. From the initial contact walking in to their showroom with one of their staff (Kevin C.) members to completion of the job, every step of the way we were met with nothing but professionalism. Kevin C. did a great job navigating our ideas from materials, designs, time frame and of course budget in order to provide an outstanding work plan. The on-site foreman’s and supervisors treaded our home like one of theirs. They completed the work as scheduled and every single step was announced and explained, every question was answered in a timely manner. Our bathroom remodel was an extremely smooth process. We met with the designer and between the three of us we chose a gorgeous selection of tile, cabinetry, faucets, lighting and other miscellaneous needs.

I was on a limited budget and the staff at Dulles Kitchen and Bath was able to help me find quality products within my budget and I am very pleased with the end results. The installers were punctual and made every effort to keep the areas clean and picked up during the construction process. If i had any problems or concerns they were addressed immediately and to my satisfaction. Very pleased with the 3 bathrooms I had them redo.

Working with Dulles Kitchen and Bath was very easy. They understood our requirements for a kitchen remodel right away, provided a first class design and explained in terms that were easy to understand what our requirements were. They had a wide selection of products to choose from and coordinated other contractors, such as hard wood flooring selection an installation, a very simple process. As with all remodels, as the project goes on the owner sees things that they would like to change, Dulles Kitchen and Bath made it very easy to negotiate contract modifications and provided discounts when appropriate. The skilled workers left the worksite clean every evening and always notified us as to when they would arrive in the morning. We would recommend Dulles Kitchen and Bath for any of your remodeling needs.

Very well. I wanted to update my kitchen while keeping the existing floor plan, i.e. I did not want to extend into another room or knock down any walls to make a larger kitchen. Ali came to my house, measured, made some suggestions and then we set up a time for me to meet with him about a week later. At that time, we went over his design and picked out colors, materials and discussed prices and options. I told him we were seeking quotes from other companies and that we would need time to make a decision, which he was fine with. Once we decided to go with Dulles, I applied for financing through the bank they refer customers to. The process was very easy and I obtained a decision in a few minutes. The bank has been very easy to work with and everything is handled online. Six months later, everything is great, and I'm still very pleased with my kitchen. There was one small glitch--the grout where the counters and the tile backsplash meet wasn't sealed properly. When I called to ask about this, Dulles had someone come out and take care of it within a few days. I'm very pleased with the experience we had with Dulles Kitchen & Bath. I would hire them again and based on our experience, I would recommend them.

The team at Dulles Kitchen and Bath was truly amazing. We were looking for someone who would be able to help us from start to finish. It seemed that many of the contractors we found were only experts in one area or another. We moved into our home in December of 2017. The house was built in 1992 and the bathroom was carpeted and the toilet was not framed in. There was also a huge Jacuzzi tub typical of that time. Bob is the design man on the team. We explained our desire to have the toilet framed in, for a two person shower and heated tile floor. Within a week we were meeting Bob at the design center where he showed us the drawings he had come up with. Next, we picked out the tile, cabinets etc. We actually were able to select everything in 1 ½ hours. For the next stage we met with the project manager, Sinan. Sinan was our single point of contact and kept everything moving along smoothly. We started the project in the mid-January and had the project completed by mid-March. I typically like to do my own work, but as the project unfolded I realized that it could take me a year to do the project myself. It required removing the entire bathroom floor, pulling circuits from the basement, a new custom shower floor, and all new plumbing. Nelson and crew were the workers for the project. They too were amazing. Nelson worked with the permit inspectors and made sure everything was done well and to standard. I would definitely use them again. The project stayed very close to on budget with just a few bumps due to some of our changes. If we were to do it over again we would’ve placed the light switch on the inside of the toilet space and we might’ve picked a different tub because the tub we picked based on its size is made of fiberglass and I’d prefer porcelain. The one thing I did do was fill the void in the bottom of the tub with insulation to keep the water warmer longer. Lastly, I was unhappy that our water pressure was terrible on the faucets. I procrastinated for months and finally got the nerve to call. Sinan came out the next day, come to find out the aerator was filled with crud possibly from our water heater. It was a simple fix that I could’ve done myself, yet Sinan didn’t complain. This was the one thing keeping me back from giving them this review. We couldn’t ask for a better team from start to finish. The project moved quickly (less the five days we went without power from a storm) and stayed on track. The budget strayed very little and they were very easy to work with and resolved our concerns and issues quickly. Communication was excellent. I think we picked the best company for the project and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Johan was excellent in design and helpful in putting ideas on paper. After a couple meetings with Johan we reach our desired plan for our dream kitchen. Johan was helpful in picking the items for our kitchen from the cabinets,pulls, quartz counters and flooring. The timing to start was set once our kitchen items arrived. They started on time and proceeded continuously to completion. Our construction team was very pleasant and work well with us to complete every detail in the kitchen. They made sure that we were happy with their workmanship and were there to please.From kitchen design to completion is a process. Dulles Kitchen and Bath delivered in making our Dream kitchen!
