1. Antique clock was repaired in 15 minutes while we waited. It works fine now. 2. Electric lock was repaired in 5 days, 5 days ahead of what we were told. Clock is working fine and workmanship was very good.

I have a wall clock and it is over 100 years old. It has been in the family for a while. When I came here it stopped working. I went to another clock shop and they put in a new main spring which did not surprise me. It run for a couple of years and then stopped again. The clock maker was not there. My grand daughter moved in with the clock, installed it on a wall and moved a pendulum and the clock started working. There was no explanation. She explained to me that the clock has to be hanging at a certain position. She was knowledgeable about it. The clock has been moving since then.

I have both purchased clocks there and I've had clocks repaired there. They're absolutely top drawer. They are extremely customer service oriented and consummate professionals. They are exceptionally well skilled and you just, that's, for me, the only place I would consider going.

Offered excellent advice over the phone.

Great job for me but for someone who has immediate gradification this shop might prove to be too much of a long wait. Folks, this is a lost art and there are fewer and fewer clock repair shops around that would be able to do this type of work. I wanted an old clock that had sentimental meaning to me repaired and got exactly that in a very professional, perfectionist way and that takes time to do right.
Patience will pay off here.

They are a nice company to work with. I liked that they took the time to educate me on their clocks. It was a very personable service. They know their stuff, and do a great job.

They assessed a gift of a grandfather clock, which was ruined. They also offered us grandfather clocks from other places, so we bought some of them. The customer service was good. They gave us tons of choices and plenty of time to decide. They were absolutely thorough in terms of knowledge and gave door service.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. They are professional, friendly, honest and do great work. I have to drive @ 45 minutes to get there, but the trip is well worth it. This is an absolutely outstanding business.

They estimated 5-6 weeks and it took 6 weeks. The clock performed well for about 6 months. However, the same pendulum that sounded like it needed work before is again not sounding so good. Although it probably only needs oiling, the clock shop told me the clock should be good for 1-2 years before it would need oiling again.

The clock ran well after service. About a year or so later, the tune selector faulted, now it has only 2 of the 3 tunes available. At this time, about another year later the hour chiming is one DONG off, i.e. at 3 o'clock it only dongs 2 times. I suspect the shaft setting screws he adjusted when he cleaned it are not secure and things are slipping. I'm hesitant to take it back to him because I believe this function is basic to all machines of this type, and it wasn't done properly, and he will charge to fix it since it has been 3+ years, so it's out of warranty. Remember the clock ran 30+ years with no problem, so it has to be something he did or didn't do. I don't know exactly if I'm being fair about this, but I think I am.

I recommend Clock Shop of Vienna very highly. They actually did the repair as I was waiting. They are very professional and responsive and also very courteous. The quality of work is unsurpassed. It's a great place for small appliance repairs.
