Capitol Closet's installed a master bedroom closet for us and did a fabulous job.  Some time later I accidentally broke one of the sliding belt racks.  I went in and asked if I could buy a new one to replace it.  The said they would send someone out and they installed a new rack FREE of charge.  I was very impressed with there professionalism and workmanship to replace something that was completely my fault.  I would definitely use them again in the future.

This is a family business that is professional and met my expectations.  Their pricing is more competetive than other service providers we had looked into.

I would give Capitol Closet Design a solid 10 on our project. Everyone was very professional from our initial call to the designer we worked with and the installation team that arrived on time and ready to work. They left our home spotless and were very courteous and professional. The price was very fair, we had two other estimates. they were in the middle but they offered so much more than the two other companies I'm not really sure it is fair to make a cost comparison. We were allowed to choose from something like twenty colors and could pick any door style and hardware to match OUR style. The others kind of said here you go...this is what we have... They finished our job all in one day and we were able to put our clothes away that evening. Thank you for a job well done!

They had a lot of trouble getting things installed and dropped a tool chipping my brand new tile floor, then tried to patch it without telling me about it. I noticed functional and cosmetic problems soon after. The owner came to inspect the job and said that the foreman no longer works for him and that he would personally do the repairs and reimburse me for the damage. Months later there is no action and he has not returned numerous phone calls and emails.

These folks are terrific. I have used them twice, once for a full Master Bedroom Suite Walk-in and now for a smaller double closet job. The thing about these closets is that 90% of what matters is the design. A poor design wastes space and money. These guys are terrific, they know what they are doing and make very valid, practical suggestions. You get a 3D design drawing, it's literally painless. It is very easy to visualize what it will look like before you sign the contract. Installation and workmanship are both top-notch. Installation crew was outstanding, well trained, and even vacuumed the floor before leaving. High Marks, will use again.

They had excellent service and had surperior construction and their work in included a lifetime guarantee. They are not cheap, but they are worth the extra price for what you get.

We had no problems with this company. They came in, provided us very nice designs that fit our needs, and were willing to make changes when we had them. There was a very slight glitch with the hardware, but we were informed in a timely matter, and the solution to the problem was presented, so it was all handled very professionally and in a way that made sense to everyone. We are extremely pleased with the work they did, and their workers were very professional and courteous -- we had a baby in the house at the time, and they were very conscientious.

The overall final product quality is good, but we had issues with the ordering and installation. When we put the down payment down, we were informed that it would be a one-day installation. It actually took a total of FOUR visits to our house to complete the installation. When they showed up the first time, they only had parts of the closet. I was shocked, because we were never told that it was only going to be a partial installation. It took them three more times to finish the closet over a two week period. We had to micro-manage the entire installation to make sure we got everything we ordered (e.g., doors, knobs for the doors, crown molding). They also left a couple of major gouges in our walls from when they were bringing in sections of the closet.

We carefully researched this company and didn't find any complaints, so we were especially disappointed with our experience.

I would highly recommend them. I looked at a lot of different closet companys and they were able to install it within a week or two. Other companies told me it would be around 6 weeks. After I went to their show room they came within 2 days to the house to measure. The whole process was really fast. The guy who did the design had great ideas and I found the experience to be really, really good. I think the pricing was in line with another popular closet company, I thought it was very fair. The time frame was great because I don't like to have people in the house for days and days. Also, I'm impulsive and when I want something done I don't feel like waiting. They were fast in delivery and installation, the cost was great. The staff was all terrific. When I went in to do this I wasn't expecting the price to be as high, but then I found that they were comparable. I've also recommended them to some friends of mine who have used them and also had a great experience with them.

Went really well, they spent at least 4 hours drawing up the design over the show room as well as my residence and they pay attention to every detail. Everything was perfect, very quality job. I feel the price was a little high but not specifically for this company, I got quotes from other closet companies in northern va and they were around the same price. I just feel that the price is high considering the material used (fake wood) and the time it took to install. If what you need is a custom closet design though, I would highly recomend them, plus you get what you pay for. I'm exteremely happy with our closet, definiltly adds a wow factor in our master closet especailly if I was getting ready to sell.

Their showroom displays all of the options and represent exactly what is installed. Within one hour, a consultant drew up plans for all four closets based on my measurements. He came to our house at the scheduled time, took his own measurements, recommended a few minor adjustments, and wrote up the contract--all within one hour. The workers arrived on time and our finished closets are high quality, beautiful, and useful.

Fantastic. Our old closet literally collapsed under the weight of clothes. They had a designer out the next morning and the installation was two business days later.

I really like their design services. They were quick and the quality was good.

Good experience -- the designer showed up very promptly and was receptive and easy to work with. Work was scheduled in a timely manner. Installers actually arrived earlier than scheduled, which worked out very well. They were friendly and efficient and conscientious about cleaning up. We're very pleased with the results.

They did a very good job. They were very accommodating as far as our time went and very honest about everything that went on as far as the job went. It was a big project and their work was very good.

My girlfriend was moving in with me and my current closet situation was deplorable. So I started shopping around for quotes. Capitol Closets was our first quote, and the one that impressed us most. Victoria Christie, our designer, was no-nonsense, gave it to us straight, and took the time to answer all our questions. Just to compare, we got 2 other quotes: one was outrageously priced and another one was a bit cheaper but they were very hasty and had a very unrealistic time frame for the construction (tear-down, spackling, 2 coats of paint AND installation all in one day? Not happening). Capitol Closets worked with us to come on a Friday and do the tear down and spackling, giving us the weekend to paint at our leisure. They came on Monday morning (on time!) and had the entire thing up in hours. It was a smooth, clean, well-designed experience and I would 110% recommend them to anyone. Sure they're not the cheapest (or most expensive) but it's totally worth the peace of mind!

OUR EXPERIENCE WAS VERY GOOD. WE USED THIS COMPANY FIVE YEARS AGO AND WERE IMPRESSED WITH THEIR ABILITY TO MAXIMIZE USABLE SPACE IN AN OLDER HOUSE THAT HAS VERY LITTLE CLOSET SPACE.
