Overall experience was Excellent.  This supplier was on time and on budget.

During the blizzard we lost about 8 30 - 40' Arborvitae trees.  Bennett's Nursery representative, Doug Dunbar, came by for an estimate for removing the remaining trees and debris and replace what we'd lost.  While they do not do removal, they recommended a tree removal service for that and then surveyed the area to be replanted and suggested several kinds of trees and arborvitae to use for replacement.  They seemed very knowledgeable.  We discussed a slope near the planting area and the root system of a large nearby oak tree and they made suggestions on spacing.  We got several other estimates and theirs was just above the middle of the range we looked at.  They were able to replant when we wanted, however, and had a good selection of trees still available at a time when many others were looking to replace trees in our area because of the storm.  We actually received trees that were taller than we'd been promised - very important to us because of the screen our trees provide between our house and our neighbors'.  After the old trees were removed, Bennett's replanted 5 healthy-looking Arborvitae, adjusted and smoothed the soil, mulched and watered the area, and provided printed information on care and watering .  They arrived on time, worked quickly and cleaned up very well afterwards.  Very thorough, timely and professional overall.

My wife and I worked directly with Duncan, the owner of Bennett's, who helped us create a multi-staged plan that we executed over about 2-3 years.  The result is a beautiful and natural looking landscape that has a variety of color, texture and dimensions through all seasons.  It's even more beautiful now than when they installed it and it has proven easy to maintain.  

All of the people at Bennett's Duncan is incredibly talented and easy to work with.  The work started and ended approximately when they said it would and the only delays were due to weather, which you'd have with any contractor who has a good book of business. 

People knock on our door regularly to just tell us how much they love the landscaping and one woman has told us that she drives out of her way everyday just to see how things change throughout the season.  The landscape is the one thing that we'll miss when we move next week but we've already got Duncan working on plans for our new home.    

We have been very happy with the experience. The trees are actually taller than we expected, although thin at the top, but they explained ahead of time that this would be the case. The trees were perfectly lined up to match a long row of 40' trees and professionally planted and mulched. The trees came with a one year guarantee (at 100% of cost and labor), which was more than that of a number of other companies we received estimates from. Would definitely recommend them highly.

Pene, our landscape designer, helped us narrow down our preferences over the course of many meetings, emails and phone calls. She incorporated our choices into conceptual designs for two areas of our yard, as well as the selection and placement of new trees. She was helpful with information and resources, and assisted us in making adaptations to the conceptual designs until we felt we had a plan we would truly love. In addition, she personally followed up with us after installation, to help us plan our plant care and assess the progress of several of our new plants. We have been so thankful for the personal care we have received, and the hours she invested to make sure we were happy with our new plants and knew how to properly care for them.

We received excellent personal service from design to install and finish. Contractor cleaned up after every day of work. Pleasant workers and hard working staff. Superb attention to detail; Took time though. Don't expect work to be completed overnight.Neighbors very impressed with the work. Wanted business card of contractor.

A very satisfying experience from beginning to end. Ms. Russell has creative ideas, is always open to suggestions and/or changes, has great enthusiasm, and is a pleasure to work with.
