ACHIKIAN GOLDSMITHS

To make a long story short Mr. Achikian made my picky fiancee so happy! She just adores her engagement ring, which he created from scratch (he is after all a Master Goldsmith, and when you are in the store you can actually see him working!) at a reasonable price. It was always a pleasure going to see Mr. Achikian and his staff because they were not stuffy like the staff you would find at the other jewelry stores (who would talk to you in a salesman/saleswoman kind-of way). In fact, Mr. Achikian has a very playful side to him that made you feel at-ease! If you want to have a very beautiful ring made from scratch and do it for a very affordable price I highly recommend going to see Achikian Goldsmiths!

Achikian's did a great job with some cherished pieces, in a timely manner, for a fair price.

They provided 2 written copies of certified appraisals for estate jewelry by the date we agreed on. I selected settings for 2 pair of cut stones that I bought years ago to have made into post earrings. They ordered the settings that I wanted and the goldsmith set the stones with high quality results. The goldsmith knows what he is doing and can be counted on for very high quality work. The service at the counter is consistently prompt, courteous and helpful. Also, this jeweler has a very good selection and wide variety of new and previously owned items for purchase. I like the convenience of doing business with a local vendor on Church Street. I would recommend Achikian Jewelers for their excellent service, reasonable prices, helpful assistance and nice variety of high quality merchandise.

Service was quick and staff is very friendly. I have had many rings re-sized here and the cost was extremely reasonable for enlarging at least 10 different styles of rings from a size 6 up to a size 8. Friends have lost an earring, and if they bring in jewelry to melt down, Achikian's is often able to replicate the lost piece. Re-designing old pieces of jewelry is another service they provide. Drop by and visit with the courteous, capable, and friendly staff. The jewelry they sell is lovely.

I don't like the service they provided me. The guy there is a thief. He said that I came up and picked my ring but I haven't picked up my ring. He didn't do anything. He keep going everyday and he did it also to other people. He's untrustworthy, unreliable and he hides behind the truth.

It was an excellent, indeed enjoyable, experience. We most certainly will return. We recommend their services without reservation. They did the work in two weeks and the ring was ready as scheduled. Price was slightly over $400.

I brought in three watches-two needed batteries and two needed band repairs. I provided the pin for one watch band and one needed a pin. All three were serviced while I waited. I was charged only for the batteries and the cost of installing them; plus the repair of the bands. I was not charged for the pin. I was very pleased with the result.

A battery was replaced in a watch. They knew how to open up the back correctly. They did the work the same day. The new battery was included in the price. We were very happy with the quick service and great price. The shop has other fine jewelry for sale and does other repairs. They were friendly and courteous.
