Verizon Home Phone Service

I have a bundle plan with Verizon and direct TV but every month from Direct TV and I get a bill from Verizon.  Now when I pay Verizon, my satellite TV goes off and when I call them, they tell me that Verizon hasn’t paid them so it is a big war.  I am having a terrible experience with them.  It is really very bad.  I never dealt with Direct TV, I dealt with Verizon, they were a part of the bundle offer, I get a bill from both of them, and it is crazy.  I spoke to someone just last month and they told me they understood what was going on and gave me a couple of credits for my inconvenience and then week later, everything is back to like it was with even more charges.  I have a problem with the internet as well, at one point, it wasn’t working and a technician had to come out and I was never given any credit towards that.  The technician came out and got it working and then as soon as he left it stopped working and he told me that someone from Verizon had put in some codes in my computer and that they can control the computer on their side to get it working, so it has been very frustrating.  I have no choice but them in my area.  Hopefully one day it will get fixed but right now, I do not like the service.  If I had a choice, I will not use them.

I think the installation was free and we pay about $150 a month for the service.  They were pretty good, pretty quick and they were there when they said they were going to be.  They did work with us to try and get our monthly billing down when we switched.

They said it will not cost me anything and it would be more reliable. The very next day, the phone went dead and I called them. I had a call for many different times that they wanted me to fill out a ticket and I told them to come back right away because I had people who needed medical attention. I need to have the phone available. It was a pain in the neck. The guy who actually came out was a great representative but the service in general of the company was terrible. They came in and talked me into upgrading the connection and when I did, the next day it was not working. They should have that in their records. They should have said they were here and they installed it and now I am calling them and asking what happened because it does not work. They are telling me to look if there is a light on and I said I do not have a screwdriver and I cannot open the box and look at that stuff. What happened was that the guy had run a wire over an outlet so that the box had electricity. When he did that, he put some staples in the thin wire and it did not work the next day. When the new guy came out, he put a thicker wire and he was more careful how he stapled it and it was fine. He even gave me an extra battery in case it runs out. That guy was an independent contractor and he was very good. I was trying to contact Verizon and getting them to fix the problem they created because they installed it. It was a terrible experience.

They don't want my information; that is the nicest thing I can say about them. Their price is too much but I have no choice except to use them.

They provide our phone and voicemail service. The serviceman was very helpful and polite. We have no complaints. They are very good. They charge more than others.

I pay $120 for my basic plan which also includes the data rates. The sales representative was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He was courteous. The service was excellent. He was able to transfer the contacts from the old phone to the new phone. I pay a premium for an Apple iPhone, so the pricing is good. I would rate them highly and will continue to use them in the future.

For the most part we are happ with the services. The prices are not really good on the hgher side compared to other providers and I usually have to wait to get anyone out here if I hae a problem. The technicans are usually very polite and helpful and get the problem resolved, but the quality of work is great. I wold probably recommend them to others.

I normally do not have to talk to them. If I need something and call them I will get answers. The overall experience is excellent. They are responsive and professional. They are trained people.
