Marcus Jelks

Heat pump was not working. He came and put in a fuse and left. The fuse blew and I had no heat. Not even emergency heat. He came back and put back in emergency heat mode. Has been running in that mode since December 31, 2013. He kept scheduling appointments with me saying that he was coming back. He never called or show up. Would only leave my a text if I contacted him via text. Always said he was on another job and was trying to finish up. This unit is under warranty and is only two years old. This man installed the unit. I realize there may not be money in a warranty repair but he could have at least been professional and toldl me he didn't know what the problem was instead of keep stringing me along. Also had problems out of this same system last year. He blames it on the Rheem unit that I have. He says it could be possible that I have a bad unit. I think its him. Said he would ask around because he never encountered this problem before. I'm still waiting. Never got a business card from him when I asked for one. Said he didn't have any on him. I asked him how much I owed him for him coming out looking at the unit. He said he didn't know and that I could just give him money for gas. I did exactly what he asked. The last time he came out to turn the unit to emergency heat he handed me the check back that I had given him for gas. Come to find out my whole system is wired and installed incorrectly.  He should be made to reimburse me for wasting my time and energy trying to correct what he did/did not do. This guy does not have a clue what he is doing. Please do not use him for anything. 

Well I have gotten some real professionals (Masons Heating and AC) out who fixed the problem. They troubleshot until they found the problem. Was very courteous and patient until the unit was fixed. I would use Masons Heating and AC again. Would not recommend Marcus Jelks to anyone. He shouldn't be allowed into anyone's home.
