Heating and Air Conditioning Service
During the process of servicing the oil furnace, changing nozzle and filter, tried to bleed the air out of the oil pump and deadheaded the pump and ruptured the seal spraying oil all over the floor.
He told me my pump was broken and spray oil out on the floor and that I needed a new pump. The furnace worked good until he messed with it. I had recently been under the house and would have noticed a oil leak problem.
After the old pump was removed I examined the seal and it was ruptured with a portion of it sticking out.
The service cost $200 and the pump and installation was $250.
