Beware - The work is contracted out, so you have no idea who is coming to do the work. I have used Angi several times in the past and all of my experiences have been great until now. This has been the worst experience ever. The job was a simple molding replacement around my attic opening in the ceiling and it turned into a two day job to complete. All was fine until I tried to enter my attic a week or so later, only to find that the door cover was sealed to the molding!!! Pronto agreed to get back to me and schedule to have someone come out and so far that has not happen.

They never performed the work. Set 3 appointments and they never showed up to do the job without a call as to why. They have kept my deposit and refuse to refund. I would not do business with these people.

The material estimate was off by 300%. I was told 2 people would be performing the work. I only had 2 people for 1 day (out of 4). The actual quality of the work is very good! But there estimator and business in general is lacking in communication and ensuring the client understands what their business does provide vs what is considered the norm with most construction business.

Grout: Replace or Repair
Everything went well. Addressed a long-standing issue effectively and at a reasonable price. Would definitely use again. Nothing exceptional, but we didn’t need that. Minor language barrier but not prohibitive.

Drywall Repair
The workmanship was very good but the scheduling was a nightmare. We were scheduled from 3-6 pm but got a text at 11:15am that the worker was coming at 11:45 am. We had to cancel because of work conflicts - we were not expecting the work until the afternoon. We had to wait another two weeks to get rescheduled and then the communication was sparse and not accurate. For day one of the two day project, the worker showed up on time but we did not get a notice until after he arrived and it listed a time 40 mins after his arrival. The next day, once again we expected the worker to come in the afternoon and he showed up without any notice in the morning. Fortunately my husband was home to get the work done.

Wood Fence Repair
Pronto Home Repairs were very impressive. The estimator was on time with clearly stated pricing. They scheduled my fence repair quickly, staying in touch by text and email. The carpenter who did the repairs was also on time, clearly skilled and finished when he said. More companies should work like this! I will use them again.

They have been very reasonable in pricing; salesman and estimator Adam was very patient and friendly person to work with. Our project starts next week only, but Pronto’s pricing, break down of costs for multiple projects, customer service and ease of using online platform to book an appointment for actual service, all have been very smooth. Great value, quote was reasonable and 50% less than other sources. Superb customer service and communication. Quality of work was good but not perfect, but some of the cuts in the wood could be straighter. Wasn't handyman's first job of day and seemed eager to get home. Beware that when work is finished, you will sign off on handyman's phone and then be asked to rate work and give a tip. That's awkward, in my opinion should be handled online after handyman leaves. Overall positive, would use Pronto again.
