I talked with Greg back in the winter and he asked when we wanted the work completed. I told him that we would like it done by June 1st. We got together for the estimate in April and he worked the job into his schedule.

He started on May 15th with the demolition of the old decking, rails , etc. He lost several days because of rain but the deck was completed on May 27th.

Greggs workmanship is second to none. He is meticulous about his work and does top quality construction.

I would recommend him to anyone who wants top quality job.

He came to start the day he said he would, did what he said he was going to do. And I was very satisfied with the work he did.

He did an amazing job and it is hard to tell where the modifications were made! I just remodeled the kitchen (after 50 years) and the cabinets were the only thing I wanted to keep.

I hired Greg initially to install a cat walk and 8 x 8 deck to the back of my new house for my cats too access through an above ground window with cat door. He showed up on time for the estimate and made great suggestions. Once hired, he was right on time every day, very nice, cleaned up his work site and completed the job in 2.5 days at a fair price. He doesn't rush and takes pride in producing a quality product. It didn't take me long to realize he is very multi-task oriented. I hired him to install hardwood in 2 rooms, remodel 2 bathrooms with tile, install backsplash and new counters in kitchen, install paneling on basement walls, install mop sink and sump pump in basement and a lot of other small projects. I hired him based on past reviews and I am so glad I did. He is gem.

Greg recently finished remodeling our primary living space (created an open kitchen, living and dining area). We couldn’t be happier with the quality of the finished product and the overall experience of working with Greg and his associate, Jeff. Greg and Jeff can do just about anything related to remodeling and do it well (Greg did use a sub to do the plastering). I did some of the work myself and Greg was more than willing to answer questions and offer suggestions whenever I asked. He even lent me a compressor and nail gun to install a hardwood floor. I meet with 4 other contractors before deciding on Greg and choosing him was definitely the right decision.

Greg Grimes is by far the best building contractor I have ever worked with. The quality of his work was outstanding, and the cost for the work he and his crew performed was very reasonable.
Despite the changes we made along the way, Greg was very flexible and made great suggestions. He was very easy to work with.
Because of how busy Greg is it took a little while to get an estimate and get started, but once he started the work he was there every day until it was complete. He completed the job on estimate, and in a reasonable time frame.

During the project Greg was very careful of our property, and every evening he had our kitchen clean and usable.

It went well, Greg always does a good job. He installed lights on deck as well.

Prompt and efficient, Greg chose to charge us through time and materials. There was a very minor leak on the sink drain which he promptly came out to fix with no extra charge or hassle. We would love to have him come and do much more, but it is nearly impossible to get him to come out. Well worth hiring if he has the time.

I've used him for 3 or 4 years. He is a general contractor. I have probably spent $50,000 with him and I have probably referred another $200,000 to him. He is fabulous and he gets an A on my list. He has been in business for about 5 years and he went out on his own. It is a long waiting list for him, which is unusual in the construction business.
