Kevin was wonderful. He lives local to us and came out almost immediately and spent hours and multiple trips going over various options, quotes, etc to ensure that we got what we were envisioning in the budget we had planned. We had several companies come out to give estimates and he was able to adjust his to a very competitive rate and also allowed for the most options in product and color choices compared to other companies. He came out often to drop off samples whenever requested where other companies directed us to drive to Newport News ourselves to look at samples (which wasn't possible with our busy lifestyle and small children) and other companies would also take days and sometimes weeks to respond to questions/ provided estimates. We liked that Kevin is a Class A contractor with a reputation for doing projects like this right the first time and he often is called in to correct the work of other companies. His workers were very knowledgeable and came every day ( weather permitting) until the job was complete and were more than willing to make some alterations in the project along the way to make the end result exactly what we had hoped for. Kevin was gracious, responsive, and stands by his work with a 5 year warranty and was able to build our patio over what had been basically a pond under our old deck which was a feat in itself. We could not recommend him enough.

The work was timely and the crew professional and cooperative. Kevin Martin was great to work with and had good suggestions for improvements. They kept the work area clean and were a pleasure to work with. I would not hesitate to work with this company again, and plan to do so this spring.

Kevin and his crew at Landscape Elements did a great job throughout the project. Kevin was very helpful and responsive during the planning and quotation stage, following up with prompt quotes and sample materials. During construction, every reasonable effort was made to minimize damage to the rest of my lawn and to protect my existing irrigation system. At the end of the project, they were careful to clean up after themselves, even power washing the street where they had staged stone and sand for the patio foundation. We are very pleased with the workmanship and quality of the patio.

All work performed as promised, first class job, reasonable price. Kevin went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied with the work performed.

My former landscaper performed so slowly and badly that I had a swamp instead of a yard. To save my sanity I had to let him go. Still, the local home owner's association demanded a finished landscape in very short time, during a time of huge flooding rains. Even the frogs were complaining, loudly! -but not Kevin. He corrected all the previous installation errors and made a beautiful stone hardscape for me that functions perfectly and earns many compliments from my guests. His recommendations saved me a lot of money and trouble with materials and plants no well suited for my property. I can trust his recommendations to meet my needs and work well in the environment where I live. He is my "go to" landscaper, called back any time I want to upgrade.
