He found the dryer drum was jammed into the seal. He unjammed it and tested dryer on 2 minute cycle with nothing in the drum. One hour after he left, I did normal load of light colored clothes, full size sheets, and one towel. After 10 minutes, I heard a strange sound coming from the dryer like it was slowing down and sticking on something or coming off its track. I opened the door to check it out. The same issue was back, drum is frozen and won't rotate when you push the start button.
I immediately called Suffolk Appliances and left a message to call me back in the morning to schedule another appointment to come and fix the dryer. No response. I called the next day and attempted to reschedule. I asked to have the service tech call me so I could talk with him about it. He told the lady who answered the phone that he could not do anything. I had to call the home warranty company who sent them to fix the problem and tell the warranty company I needed a re-call.
This is an issue because I already had to take an afternoon off to be here for them to come the first time, and am not sure I can get time another afternoon to have them come back to fix the same problem.
My perception was that the service tech was in a hurry, and did not take sufficient time to fully test that the dryer was actually fixed and rotating properly.
