I highly recommend Mr. Charles Carter, Senior Geek Computer Services. He is skilled, professional, prompt, considerate and honest. Because of the positive comments on Angie's List by Mr. Carter's past customers I decided to call him because after reading the comments, the word that stood in my mind was "honest". I called Mr. Carter on a Saturday even though he did not have Saturday hours listed. To my surprise he called me right back after I had left a message, and after giving him the details of my problem he agreed to look at my computer that very day to diagnose the problem. I had the option of in-home repair, but instead chose to let Mr. Carter work on it at his site. When I arrived I was impressed that, despite it being Saturday and non-shop hours for him, he was still dressed very neatly and professionally in a Senior Geek monogrammed oxford shirt and pressed slacks. He called me a few hours later with his diagnosis and discussed the different avenues he could take as well as the costs involved with each approach. After letting him know what was most important to me he began the very involved work of going through thousands of files to find still-readable files. He received my computer on a Saturday and by Monday, the computer repairs were completed and ready for in-home delivery. Upon delivering the computer to my home, he set it up and then spent two hours going over with me what he had done, acquainting me with the new set-up, answering my questions, and assuring I was happy with the results. Before leaving, he provided me with a complete Service Order Agreement and asked me if I thought the work he had done and what he had accomplished was worth the cost he charged. It was important to him that we felt he charged a fair price. It was worth it to us to have someone competent and willing to go through the tedious process in the attempt to recover our important files. He let us know we could call if we had any questions. A week and a half later, my system is working beautifully, and true to his word he has helped me with each question that has come up. Beside his professional and competent work, Mr. Charles Carter, Senior Geek, is very polite, diligent, very careful with details, and an excellent communicator. I always felt that he was sincere and truly wanted to do all he could do to recover my important files and to get my computer back in working order. He kept us apprised during the process so that we always knew what he was going to do and how much it would cost. Because of our positive experience with Mr. Charles Carter, Senior Geek, we will turn to him in the event we have any future computer repair needs.

Senior Geek interviewed us about precise nature of failure, then detached our CPU for detailed trouble shooting back at his office. After diagnosing issues within 24 hours, Senior Geek called us with explanation, recommendations, and cost per service. He executed our requested fixes and returned our repaired CPU within 48 hours--to our intense relief. He then re-attached the CPU and explained what he had done--making recommendations as he took us through repaired functions. Finally, the bill was exactly what he said it would be before he executed the repair. Without a doubt, we would consult him in the future.

Excellent from start to finish. Charles asked a lot of questions on the initial phonecall, did some research on the problem before arriving at my house the very next day, and solved it within an hour. His experience with computers and having the right "tools" to fix it after diagnosing it meant that he fixed things more quickly than others would have (if at all).

Charles was great. He was on time, professional, explained everything he was doing and why, gave me helpful tips to make working with my computer easier for me in the future. He was very patient with me and very knowledgeable and honest. I felt very comfortable and will use him again. He fixed my spyware problem (primary reason for calling), and had a lot of time left over after that, so he cleaned up my computer files and did some other maintenance and restored my recycle bin that I had accidentally deleted. Told me about the free defrag software and another free software for spyware and viruses. He really seems to enjoy working with computers. I like that he packed a lot of help into the time he was here.
