Sterling did a great job for us and was very professional and personable.  His cost was WAY below the estimates we received from others but fell in the range we were told from another trusted landscaper to expect.  Sterling did tell us that he provides a DIY consultancy service as well that is compelling.  For example, if you want to build a deck but are a little unsure of how to begin or how to get through the permit process, he will help.  He will also help with the project for a day or more to help you get started.  Sounds good.  I highly recommend that you contact Sterling if you have any construction / handyman projects that you would like him to help with.

We were extremely satisfied from start to finish. Sterling and his crew are very professional and competent. Sterling was knowledgeable about all components of the installation and stayed within the budget estimate. The crew were pleasant and took pride in their work. Home Projects will always be our first choice when having any work done at the house. Several of my neighbors are going to book this company to install patios as well.

First class results without gold plated prices. Sterling did such a fantastic job on our patio last year that when we decided to do a complete demo and reconstruction of our second floor we asked him for ideas. He took our suggestions and provided a reasonable approach that kept our costs down while meeting every one of our desired outcomes...and he did it all on budget with a minimum of the unavoidable issues faced in any major remodel.

Sterling is an honest and reliable contractor. Several times there were product quality issues and we wouldn't have been aware of if he didn't tell us.

He created a master bedroom, 2 bathrooms, and a walk in closet suite that meets both our needs and our 'wants'...fantastic quality and great use of the available space.

We absolutely love the result! We would recommend Sterling Spruill as your contractor of choice without reservation.

We were very pleased with every aspect of this project. Sterling came and looked at the original bath and we told him what we wanted. He took our ideas and made them better. Sterling was always on time and was courteous as was all the other people who worked on this project.
Sterling sent us a contract that outlined the project and costs. Sterling knows what he is doing and is very good at providing you with what you want. He may not be the cheapest contractor, but you get quality work.
We love our new shower and linen closet and are enjoying the bathroom more than we even imagined.
I would recommend Sterling for remodeling, new homes or landscaping just by the job he did in our bathroom. I enjoyed the renovation project from start to finish.

Super! The most important attributes I look for in a contractor are honesty, quality and dependability - especially when things don't work out exactly as planned. If you care about these qualities Sterling Spruill is the right choice. He not only took our ideas, added many of his own insights and turned our rather small back yard into a beautiful, functional addition to our home that we use whenever we can, he overcame multiple difficult challenges such as weather delays, faulty materials from manufacturers and others. None were his fault, yet he bore the significant additional cost in materials and time himself - because that's the way he does business: with honesty, dependably and produces a high quality end result that we absolutely love.

Sterling and his guys were very professional. They showed up on time and worked hard all day long. They even offered to fix a couple of issues in our yard. They cleaned up every evening, there was never any loose tools or equipment left out.Sterling gave us an update on the work every couple of days. They even worked in the rain, so they could get the next step done the following day without a delay.We are very pleased with the job they did. I would highly recommend them if asked.

It went very well. During the process, we had several neighbors stop be to see, and Sterling and his crew were great in explaining what they were doing. As a result, several neighbors have asked me for Sterling's business card because they have projects they want him to do. During construction, Sterling and his folks made sure I was informed about anything odd they discovered (e.g., lots of stuff underneath the dirt). Sterling also took the time to explain how he was dealing with drainage in ground preparation (because you do not want water trapped near your foundation due to poor sloping). Toward the end of the job, he also took the time to advise about landscaping plants and styles (which we much appreciated!).

Mr. Spruill was timely with his bids. He followed up any problems with the subcontractors and generally gave good value for the money spent. Mr. Spruill was very careful about managing the work site and keeping things organized and cleaned up. The design and execution of the complex paver pattern was excellent. He is not the least expensive contractor, but I feel you get a very good product in the end, that is well worth the money invested.

I couldn't be happier with all the work this company did for me. the owner said to me that he had one job and that was to do what I asked. And that is just what he did. His workers were friendly, on time, hand working,clean and very polite. All in all it was a great experience and I would hire them again.

They did such a good job I had them back to put pavers in my front yard and also install a retaining wall. They are reasonable, they do excellent work, they follow up, and the show up on time. They are a pleasure to work with. They emailed me everyday during the job to keep me informed.
