We arranged several quotes for long-term yard care for the summer, as we were planning on being out of town for most weekends. We got a reasonable quote from Mr. McNealy at Green It Up and he also told us he services several other homes in the neighborhood and would be here frequently.
We signed a contract with him and prepaid for services for the month of May. We arranged to have them come every Wednesday. They came twice and on the third Wednesday it was pouring rain, Mr. McNealy e-mailed and told us they would not be working that day and would get to our lawn as soon as they could. No problem, we understood.
The rain cleared up by Friday and still no Green It Up, when we still hadn't heard anything on Monday, we called and left a message asking for earlier service, as our lawn was getting out of control. We never got a response back to our calls or e-mails and they never came again. It's been 6 weeks and still no return phone calls about at least refunding the rest of our prepayment.
