CUSTOM WINDOWS OF TIDEWATER

When Ricky called the next week i.e. coming to fix the drywall, I asked when they would come to wrap the windows. He said he'd come that week. The week went by and no windows were wrapped. I called a 2nd time and again was told he was really busy but he?d be out there within the next few weeks. Again no one came. They did call me 2 months. After the installation and offer to send the guy, but at that point, I was working with another contractor who thought they could do the work. I've had 3 window experts look at my home and they all say he installed the windows wrong, didn?t complete the work and did a poor job. I finally received my window warranty on 5/14/07, but it?s not longer valid as it had to be returned within 30 days of installation. I have talked to Custom Windows and Ricky Tucker who installed the windows several times. Ricky blames the issue on the siding and when I told Custom Windows that I had been advised to pursue legal action told me, "Do what you need to do."

This company was great right from the very beginning. They gave me an estimate that was fair and the installation went very smooth. The crew showed up as scheduled and did the job perfect. There were not any air leaks and they cleaned up whatever mess they made before they left.

I was extremely satisfied with all of the work that the owner of Tidewater did for me. I can honestly say he went the extra mile to ensure the safety of my deck. He was also very particular in the detailed work when installing the doors and windows. I think he is worth every penny I paid him and would gladly do it all over again.
