A-1 Advanced Refrigeration

My Mother's refrigerator was running, but not getting cold, so I called almost all of the refrigerator repair companys in the yellow pages. Most of them wanted at least $100.00 to come out on a weekend or they wanted us to wait a week before they would come out to check it.  My Mother's refrigerator needed to be fixed ASAP because she stores her insulin in it. After calling many many companys I found A-1 Advanced Refrigeration. The lady said she could come out within the hour for no extra charge on nights or weekends. The service lady was at my house in less than an hour and checked my refrigerator and found that the compressor was not working, which is very bad because it's cheaper to just buy another refrigerator than to replace the compressor. I was very upset about that because we could no afford a refrigerator right now and we really need to store her insulin and groceries. I told the service woman named Jasmine thanks for comming out and paid her the trip to come out and check the refrigerator then she left. About two hours later I received a phone call from A-1 Advanced telling me that they needed to recheck my refrigerator, so I said sure ,see ya soon. Here comes the service van with a refrigerator in the back with two other service ladys unloading it and bringing it in my mother's house. I told them I can't afford to buy it. The service lady said to not worry about paying for it they had it all taken care of. And that wasn't even all they did. After the ladies set up my refrigerator they handed my mother a $200.00 giftcard to Farmfresh! I am so thankful for the generosity of this company. My mother has gone through so much with her health and being on hospice, but it was so nice to see her smile and know that there is still big hearted people that care in this world.

I turned the dials back to being frozen. I walked away from the room because I was watching a child. When I came back, he had changed the elements. He went ahead and fixed it before I asked him to fix it. He said he had to go to the next call as well. I called back and they wouldn't talk to me. They hung up on me each time. I felt like I was taken advantage of. I didn't even get to look at the old parts and him putting in the new parts.
