Ryan Rutherford, owner of Rhyno Solutions, installed a radon mitigation system in my home today and I was very impressed with his attitude and his work. An example of his attitude - when he put a ladder against my siding to work on the project, he placed a piece of plastic between the ladder and the siding so he wouldn't damage the siding. And his work? He did the job like it was one he was going to have to live with himself. Everything he did was done as perfectly as he could possibly do it. He drilled a 5" hole in by basement floor, and when he did, he placed his shop vac right next to the hole to eliminate the possibilty of concrete dust getting into the living area. He installed the 4" PVC pipe in the hole and ran it out the wall to the vent fan. He was careful to measure everything precisely in order to get the placement just right. When he caulked around pipes and wiring, he was careful to smooth the the caulk for a nice appearance. When I agreed to his contract I told him I wanted brown downspout to take the vented air up to the roof. He made two special trips to Winchester to satisfy my request for brown downspout. The completed job looks very nice and professional. I would definitely recommend this man!
