About us

Specialize in Basement Finishing from framing to finish. In business for over 30 years with many local references. Framing, doors, trim, bath tile, Mech. and finish work all done by myself. I sub my electric, plumbing, drywall and paint to sub contractors I have been using for over 25 years. Flooring (carpet) other then bath tile, I normally leave up to the home owner. Average pricing ranges from $22.00 to $25.00 per square foot of finished area, depending on what owner wants to do with the space. I have a Class A Va. state license, and am fully insured with liability, up to $1,000,000 twice a year. Includes pulling all permits and handeling all inspections. I work out of my home office, with tools in garage, enabling me to keep down the overhead, passing the savings on to my clients.

Fleming contracting did a great job on helping us design the new layout of the deck, ensure it was within the regulations for the distance to the property line, and executed it within budget and on time. It was actually shocking at how quick the deck was completed from start to finish! No surprises came up along the way that resulted in scope creep, neighbors were happy with the clean up and noise levels, and overall the project went exactly as planned. Great job, great work, and great deck! I have used them for a bathroom as well which went great. My friend had an entire addition done by them and said it was great even years later. I would give them a call as they are very competitive in price, quick to turnaround the work, and are a local trustworthy vendor.
Description of Work: I used Fleming Contracting for a variety of services over the years to include remodeling a bathroom, but this review is for the recent deck he installed for me. While Bill does not do decks as a main focus for his business (he usually does basements or smaller additions); I enjoyed his craftsmenship so much that I asked if he would consider doing my deck. He accepted and did a fantastic job. He did such a good job that my neighbor got deck envy and asked to have her deck done as well - which he did.
