I would definitely hire them the next time I need a plumber.
Mike came out the next day, I showed him where the water problem was in the ceiling . He asked me several questions before cutting a hole in my drywall (which I greatly appreciated) After checking the overflow and drain in the tub which is where I told him I thought the problem was, he found it was more likely the shower....He showed me where the cement had eroded between the tiles on the shower seat and created quite a gap for water to get through. Rather then continuing with cutting holes he suggested that I call the tile company who had installed my new bathroom and have them remove the 2 pieces of granite from front of seat and check for dampness due to water leakage...shower seat may not have been water proofed correctly.
I appreciated the fact that Mike did not take advantage of my situation and continue cutting holes in my ceiling or removing the granite himself and prolong the service. I have called the bathroom install people and they are coming out tomorrow to look at it.
Mike also said if that were not the problem, please call him back. Thanks to Mike's diligence carefully checking out my situation I have only one small hole in my ceiling and am confident that the shower seat is the problem. If it is not, I will call this company to come back and do the work. I was only charged the trip fee of $89.00
The leaking problem is not fixed and the work is constantly delayed until Dec. 20. But final result is ok.
"We have to address the inaccuracies of this unfortunate review. First of all, the leak mentioned was actually on work by the installer of the sink and countertop for the previous homeowner, not by us. Secondly, this individual did not hire or pay us, the work we did was for the previous homeowner. Third, the timeline is completely inaccurate and misleading. The first contact this individual made with our technician was while negotiating at closing with the previous homeowner. The December 6 phone call mentioned was to get an estimate for additional repairs that were being negotiated during closing with the now previous owner, not about scheduling to repair a leak. We did not hear about the leak, which again turned out not to be our work, until it was brought to our attention on December 17 when the individual called our technician at home during the evening. Our technician told the individual that he would contact him as soon as he was able to check with the office on his upcoming availability. The individual called the office before our technician made his way to the office that day, at which time we offered to come to his house within a half hour. The individual did not feel that it was enough notice so we offered to come out the next day Thursday, December 19. The individual preferred the following day which was Friday, December 20. We accommodated the request and arrived on time for the appointment and fixed the leak even though it turned out to be not on our work and as a courtesy did not charge the individual for the minor repair. We strive for customer satisfaction and are quite shocked to see the ratings and comments in this review and do not understand the motivation. We ask the individual who posted this inaccurate and misleading review to remove it for the following reasons: 1) The individual posting this review did not hire or pay us $230, the work we did was for the previous homeowner 2) The leak mentioned turned out to be not on work we performed 3) We offered to come out the following day after being told about the leak, the review makes it appear that there was a 14 day delay on our part"
