We are The Maids - a ridiculously thorough house cleaning service in Sterling. We like to think of ourselves as professional connoisseurs of clean. And we're committed to giving you the best clean imaginable. We set ourselves apart by cleaning homes in teams of four. Our professionals employees are bonded and insured - each one trained and certified. We use our own products and supplies, like our specialty vacuums with HEPA filtration that remove 99 percent of all dust and allergens. Our cleaning products are environmentally safe so we can ensure they won't leave behind harsh odors or cause damage. We clean the smallest of details, like doorknobs, light switches, phone receivers, remote controls and appliance handles, because we know where germs try to hide. - didn't wipe down cabinets - didn't polish furniture - didn't clean windows - didn't clean oven - didn't dust (mantle, window sills) - floors were just plain bad (haze and skipped over large portions)

"Dear (Member name removed) I am very sorry for the unfortunate series of events that culminated in a bad customer experience for you and your wife. Our Office Manager, who took the original notes for the clean, did note to clean inside the oven, clean inside the refrigerator, clean inside the windows, but to not clean inside the cabinets or drawers. When our new Office Assistant transcribed the Office Manager's notes into our scheduling system, she missed the oven and the windows, but did note to clean inside of the refrigerator and not the drawers or cabinets. When the team arrived, your wife told them that it was not necessary to clean inside of the refrigerator, because it was full. To the team, based on their notes, that meant don't clean inside of anything (because the refrigerator had been the only thing that they were to clean inside of, according to their erroneous notes). I did not take the phone from my office staff, the new Office Assistant put your wife on hold then came into my office, somewhat distressed that your wife was upset about things that had not been done (inside the oven and inside of the windows) and that she wanted the team to leave immediately and to come back Friday (we were not in a hurry to leave, we were asked to); the new Office Assistant asked that I speak with your wife. I wish that I would have reacted differently to your wife's frustration, but instead, I acted defensively. I wish I could un-do my reaction, but I can't, I can only apologize and hope to learn from my mistakes. As far as being late, when we knew that we would arrive about 15 minutes outside of the one hour arrival window we had originally given you, due to a clean before yours taking longer than expected, we called and updated you. Missing the oven and the windows was due to the transcription oversight in the office. We try to give each of our customers the best cleaning experience they can get. We obviously failed with you. Please allow us to come back, at your convenience, and re-clean your whole house, including the things we did not do (and did not charge for), free of charge. I contact The Maids cleaning service based on recommendations of friends and family who had used the services.  I was interested in a complete cleaning of the entire house which I knew in advance would take a lot of time and would be a bit expensive.  It is a three level home close to 5900 square feet.  The company called the day before the scheduled cleaning to provide me the time of arrival and the team showed up right on time.  The team leader walked the house with me before they started to make sure those areas where I wanted them to ensure were given extra attention were noted.  I particularly wanted all the bathrooms and the kitchen area given a bit more attention.  I also asked that all surface areas were cleaned and dusted.  The crew of four went straight to work and completed the job in just under four hours.  I walked the house again with the team lead to make sure everything was satisfactory and it was.  The entire team was friendly and very professional.  The team lead made sure again that I was happy with the job, she presented the paper work in a very professional manner and took care of the business end of the job without a problem.  I will use this service on a monthly basis, however I only schedule cleaning of my home when I can be here during the service.  I have a dog and personally - I like to be around when someone is in the house working.  I would recommend The Maids to others.

The team I have now is awesome, when they leave the house looks like a model home, with shining stainless steel appliances and beautiful hardwood clean and shining floors.  THe bathrooms and bedrooms look spotless and they vacumme the couch and chairs!  I have two dogs so it can be an awful lot of work keeping the floors spotless and shining!  I am very happy with their service, I have referred them several times!
