I needed the lights in my patio stairs replaced. Stone River did the installation of my patio and did an amazing job with the installation so why wouldn't I use them for the repair. They helped me find the exact lights I previously had. What impressed me the most this time around was the use of their magical powers to removed the existing top stone of the steps, replace the lights and put the top stone back like nothing happened. I would hands down use Stone River over and over again.

Stone River Masonry is a great contracting company. We have used them for 2 projects now and would and will definitely use them again. When replacing our worn-out old PA flagstone w/brick border walkway (that was literally crumbling away due to poor workmanship for another), they are so expert at what they do they did not damage any of the existing landscape lighting or landscape/plants! Our walkway/porch/walls are all beautiful. We have referred to others who, too, have used them and are pleased with their decision. Their prices are competitive and the entire staff is wonderful to work with. 5-Stars for sure!

This was a great experience from start to finish. A.P. (project manager and owner's son) came to look at my stoop and walkway and provide me with a quote. He offered suggestions and advice on approach and took time to talk out options with me. I did not feel rushed and appreciated being able to discuss and understand the pros/cons of the various options. He was timely with an estimate and drawing, and the materials proposed were better quality than competitors I met with. The crew arrived when expected each day. A.P. was accommodating when I made some last minute changes on the first morning of the project, and his recommendations to address my indecision resulted in an even better solution than I had first planned. He remained in touch for the duration, and the foreman - Ricardo - with the crew each day was attentive and very easy to work with. They were careful and meticulous and their work was high quality. They also cleaned the work site each evening. They completed the project on time and it is beautiful. Along with price - feeling like I can work well, and collaborate easily and comfortably with a company is very important to me. This was that and more. I highly recommend them.

We hired Stone River for a large, winding front walkway, and years later a back patio. We couldn't be happier with their professionalism, honesty, staying on budget and time frame, and quality of work. My husband and I worked with an independent landscape designer to help us design a back yard that was functional and included elements that we like. Once that was done, we chose Stone River Masonry to execute all of the hardscaping. We worked closely with one of the owners, AP. He came to the job site most days the first week of the project. He wanted to make sure the details of each step of the project were correct. Then, he communicated the instructions to his crew. The Stone River crew was always very polite and respective of our yard. Every day, things were left in a neat and orderly fashion. During the project, if and when we had some minor changes to make, we communicated directly with AP and he passed along the word to his workers. Throughout the project, AP stopped by to assess the progress and work out the next step of details. He knew we were very particular clients, so he did not want to make any assumptions. He even had a few creative ideas that we had not considered before. They worked out beautifully into the design. We were a bit apprehensive about starting such a large project. But, we were very happy with the entire process from the initial consultation, construction and follow up to ensure all of the concerns were addressed. Stone River helped take our design backyard from paper and turn into reality.

I found Stone River at the Leesburg Flower and Garden Show a couple years ago. Mo Singh was the man I worked with and he owns the Company. Mo was great to work with. He was very patient with me coming out a couple times to go over what the project would be with me. He was also very responsive every time I called. Mo ripped out the old steps and kept the existing stoop concrete pad. He formed out new steps and had solid concrete steps poured with rebar. He had a crew of about 5 guys doing the work. On top of the steps and the stoop they put flagstone. they didn't just put the 2'x3' flagstone down, they cut it into random sizes like 1'x1', 1'x2', etc.... The pattern they laid looks very nice. On the sides of the stoop and the front and sides of the steps they laid stone veneer that matches our chimney. He did a very good job matching the stone. The whole project only took 2 days. They cleaned up everything. Mo's crew was very good and they knew what they were doing. The steps and stoop look beautiful. I recommend Mo and his Team for your project.

We had the owner of Stone River come out to quote our backyard patio project almost a month ago. He told us we would hear from him with ideas and a quote in less than a week. We have not heard a word. Sad because we were referred to him by friends and he knew that.

Our $20k+ patio project is now over halfway done with another company!

I have been contacting them for the last two weeks and haven't received a reply. I called and left multiple messages, emailed them directly and thru their website. I got a referral from a neighbor and now he is embarrassed. Not sure how you plan to stay in business without calling your leads.

They were very good and I was pleased with their work.

It didn't go overall because we DID NOT USE Stone River.

They were fine. They did their job.

I liked their attention to detail and their competence; it was pretty cold when they did it but they showed up on time and got it done quickly. I would use them again in the future if I needed to.

Overall, I am happy with the work. Mo is a great person. I am retired military and I have this thing for punctuality and responsiveness. If you tell me that you are going to show on a certain day, I would expect a call if you don't. Very, very good work.

Update: Two weeks after the job, the driveway has started to crack. The retaining wall is sinking and separating from the driveway. Mo says he will fix but has not to date attempt.

They recently changed their name to Stone River. We had a great experience with them. They were willing to work with us to give us what we wanted and what we requested. The guy that we talked to oversaw the work and he was here everyday to check to make sure it was the way we wanted it. The workers were great. They were friendly and kind. They talked with us and it was great. We would absolutely use them again.

Mo, gave us an estimate an encouraged us to get 2 to 3 more estimates so we could be sure of the price he quoted us. We called Mo back after 5 other estimates and agreed to go with him. We went over the job specifics again, and he came back the next day to begin the work. We gave Mo $1500 for material cost only and he agreed to take final payment once all the work was complete. Mo and his crew worked a week straight through the inclination weather and got our job done. We couldn't be happier with the final product. You can definitely see the 40 years of experience Mo has in doing custom masonry.

There was some shifting on the ground and so it was all messed up. They did a really good job with the curves of the side walk. The masonry overall was done nicely and neatly. They came within an hour of our phone call with an estimate. They put sand between the bricks. The only problem we had was that we wanted little more sand and so my husband emailed them to get information on the sand that they used, but they didn’t respond.

They are very professional and ask for input throughout the project.
