Install team arrived on time and they were helpful and professional throughout the day. I will recommend Snell. I also use the Service Tech for Spring and Fall checkups and Gary is very helpful and knowledgeable.

In Dec 2020, I came home after two week absence and found my gas furnace out of operation. Snell sent a service tech out that evening. After checking out the system, the Snell tech advised that the control circuit board was defective and estimated about two weeks to order and cost about $700. He indicated that since my heat system was 14 years old, few supply houses carried that control board. He also recommended a furnace tune-up at a total cost (including circuit board) of $1500. The Snell tech charged $99 for the service call, suggested a total system replacement to the tune of $10 – $20K and offered to send out a sales rep the next day. Since the only alternate heat source in my house is a gas fireplace, an immediate remedy for the furnace was needed. I called an independent master electrician, named “PC,” to find a replacement circuit board soonest. PC said he had ready access to replacement circuit boards and would come out the next day. In the meantime, Snell called back and offered to have a circuit board delivered via “overnight” service, to which I consented. Upon arrival and furnace inspection, PC found no problems with the circuit board or furnace system. He was able to “reboot” the circuit board by simply turning its power source on and off. Although PC required no fee for his service call, I gave him a compensatory check out of gratitude. Subsequently, I called Snell and cancelled all future service and sales appointments and equipment orders.
