I cannot say enough about the outstanding service I received from PuroClean. I knew from previous experience with this company what excellent work they do on water damage repair, so I called them again for a mold remediation project. This time I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Mr. Rick Van ****. His consultation included valuable extended information and advice on the entire project and beyond. I especially appreciated his ethical approach to how much work was needed and the expected costs. PuroClean is an exceptional company that I strongly recommend to anyone who needs property damage repair and/or mold remediation.

Rick Van **** is simply amazing. I honestly cannot be more grateful for his incredible and responsive service. I was really in a jam and he saved the day. An exterior side vent for my main level powder room in my townhouse rental became dislodged and allowed a constant flow of humid air to enter and initiate the growth of mold. After contacting another mold remediation company on a Friday, August 17th, I still had not received a quote by Friday, August 24th. My tenant was getting very frustrated and I was desperate to find a well rated company. After researching through multiple online sources, I came across PuroClean and reached out to Rick on Saturday morning, August 25th. Rick called me within an hour and scheduled a same day visit that afternoon for 1:30 pm. He inspected and provided me a quote and truly empathized with me on my difficult situation and agreed to perform the remediation the next morning. I can't begin to express how grateful I was for this level of customer service and willingness to help me out. Rick was ready and waiting at 8 am on Sunday morning. His knowledge, level of expertise and meticulous preparedness was outstanding. The work required - creating a safety barrier around the powder room, covering of the floors, cutting out the ceiling panel and remediating the entire area above and around the impacted area into the woodwork. He took great care to remove all decorative items in the powder room and wipe each item down with antimicrobial wash. His attention to detail was exceptional. Once everything was done, he contained and removed all the materials. Hopefully I'll never have to deal with mold remediation again but if I do, Rick's the man for the job.

Rick Van **** and his team from PuroClean Emergency Restoration Services were outstanding through-out this difficult experience. My son, Marc, owns a condo that he has rented out to a young family. A few weeks ago, the family reported signs of water damage in the hardwood floor adjacent to the kitchen. We asked Rick to inspect the problem and he gave us the bad news that a slow leak under the kitchen cabinets had saturated most of the cabinet walls and drywall behind them, and had caused a major mold infestation. Rick took the time to fully explain the nature and extent of the problem and to review our options with us. He was completely honest about what we would have to do to remediate and mitigate the mold problem, and he gave us an accurate estimate of the time and cost involved. After we engaged his company to do this work, his crew completed the job on schedule and did a really thorough job removing the infected materials and drying and cleaning out the affected area. Rick also gave us a good recommendation for a general contractor to repair and replace the cabinets, drywall and wood flooring. Rick is great to work with, and his crew did a quick, top-quality job. I highly recommend him.

First rate job. Rick was right on time, explained what he was doing and why. His crew, Derick, JJ, and Sasha did great job of getting the damaged parts of the house opened up and dried out. they had to move a large number of things in the house and probably took better care of them than I would have done! You don't want the need for a company like this, but when you you have the need, this is the one that you want!

Excellent! Well beyond expectations! Easily in Top 1% of all service providers I have ever hired in my lifetime, for home or business. Got three bids from $5000 to $9000. PuroClean was not the least nor most expensive. Just the best! Competent, Honest, Thorough, Fair! Couldn't have asked for a better more knowledgeable Owner to work with than Rick Van ****... and I am 700 miles away from the site.

Rick was very thorough and explained anything I should know. Any questions I had, he answered and explained everything, showed pictures. If the need arises, I will use him again and feel very comfortable with his explanations. His personality compliments his expertise.

As painful as it was (no insurance coverage), I am grateful that someone referred me to Rick VanDyke's company. He was knowledgeable and responsive to my problem and VERY communicative throughout the process. He and Derrick fit the estimates and work around my schedule. They were always either punctual or called to explain. They completed the work on time and the price seemed reasonable for the considerable amount of work. The scope of their work did not include putting the bathroom back together but Rick not only recommended a contractor but actually came to our first meting and followed up to make sure the contractor followed through. If you have to encounter this type of horrible problem, Rick is the one you want to help you ameliorate it!

The PuroClean folks were fantastic! When I called, Ed answered and was very professional and friendly, and so was the team that came to perform the mold remediation. Everything was done correctly and quickly! They set up a containment area. The wall portions were removed along with the entire floor. They then removed any remaining mold, cleaned out the air ducts, set up air scrubbers and totally cleaned up behind themselves. I really appreciate the work that PuroClean did for us. Ed was our knight in shining armour when our rental unit was seriously impacted by a building wide sewage backup in January 2014! Puroclean arrived promptly and quickly (and legally) removed all of the damaged hard wood, trim, drywall, and carpeting. They then sanitized and dried the unit.We could not have been happier with their response time and professional performance.

I did the removal myself and have not had a recurrence. This is the way a business should be run. He did not charge me for a job that was easily done by me. He was so helpful in explaining and walking me thru what I needed to do and was upfront about what he would have to charge me if he came out to handle this. A good guy all the way around! I would highly recommend this company for their honesty and customer service.

Ed was very courteous and patient in explaining possibilities and what would happen over the next three months.

5 Star service.....Ed is Awesome! This is by far the best contractor I have ever dealt with as a Real Estate Agent and Homeowner. I called 5 different mold and remediation companies. He was the only one who talked to me about my issue and concerns. He spoke with me several times on the phone (( very easy to reach and return calls promptly)) and explained the process to me after I told him what happen. He assured me he could take care of the mold and was more than fare with the price. He when above and beyond to work with my schedule even though his calendar was full. I spoke with him on one day and the repairs was completed the next (Outstanding Customer Service). He and his crew were very polite and professional. The work was outstanding and the crew did an excellent job. They showed up on time and completed the work in a timely manner. The team was so good that they found the source of my leak. The plumber came out twice and he miss diagnose where the water was coming from. Ed thanks very much again for going above and beyond the call of duty. Bottom line: Ed and his team were great. A+ communication skills, A+ work. Highly recommend. Long version: I had a pretty serious mold issue within a 500 sq ft crawlspace underneath the addition to my house. It was pretty messy down there. There had been a lot of moisture in there over time and all the old insulation was hanging down, so it was very hard to view the entire space. I had at least five contractors come over. I asked each of them to have a look, assess the problems, give me their thoughts on what needed to be done, and provide me a quote to perform the work. The assessments that I received were very wide-ranging, as were the costs. And with each contractor discussion, I learned more and more. And as I learned more I went back again to each contractor to get clarification regarding work needed, and cost. Some contractors become impatient when you ask too many questions, or their responses are simply unclear or incomplete. Ed however was patient and thorough in answering all of my many questions via email. Most contractors were honest in terms of what they saw. Some however clearly exaggerated the required work, and the costs to remedy. Ed,however, gave me estimates for the bare bones mold remediation work, as well as for the rebuild, and possible moisture management work, if I desired to go that route. Ultimately I went with the basic mold remediation. His pricing was very competitive for the basic work, and the way he spelled out the step by step work to be performed very clearly in the contract was a big plus. Other contracts were hand written "fill in the blank" and not so clear. It was intended to be a 3 day job, ended up taking an extra half day. Not a problem. In fact it made me more comfortable that they were taking the extra time needed to complete the work. Also, his team mates Chester and Stacey were great. On the first day, after all the old insulation and vapor barrier were removed, I was able to get a clear view of the entire space and found a small amount of wood rot in one area of the crawlspace, that I replaced. Chester and Stacey were very helpful in talking through what they saw and letting me bounce ideas off of them as to how I might remedy. In summary, I highly recommend Ed and his team for mold remediation work.

He was fabulous. The person who came to do the quote thought he might run late, but he called me to let me know so that I would not have to wait. He ended up showing up on time. His assessment of the situation was thorough and the price was fair. The technician who came to do the work was very good. I would highly recommend them. They are experts at what they do, they are honest, and did great work.

They did an excellent job. They were great. The owner was very good and communicated well. I was very satisfied with the work.

I did not really like their services. They had offered to paint the ceiling after they were done. They ended up taking a long time to paint the ceiling and then tried to charge more which seemed inappropriate. They also got paint all over the floor in the basement. The remediation was fine put the add on was problematic.
