Very well. We purchased a project which was desperately in need of lots of landscaping work. The first project we did with Meridian was to redo the path and steps at the front of the house as well install new landscaping. The next project involved installing dry creek beds and french drains to improve water management across the property. Another major project involved hardscape and landscaping at the entry of the driveway. We continue to get compliments from visiting family and friends on all of the projects.

Meridian has a great customer service program to match their quality work.  They went beyond and exceeded our expectations, to include follow-up on our satisfaction of the project and clean-up efforts.

Long overdue review.  Company (Matt Kucik) was awesome, responsive and professional - great customer service.  Matt was onsite and present when needed before, during and after.  They even came back to build out a step into the box after we were having flooding issues with rain.  They were pricey but you get what you pay for and the value is there on many levels.  Will definitely use them again when we get around to our other various projects.

The Meridian crew did an excellent job.  I was very pleased with the quality of the work and their professionalism.  I appreciated their services so much that I had them out again this spring (see 5/18/2015 service review) to do bed cleanup, edging and mulching and to install some river rock on the edges of a sloped bed to combat erosion from rainstorms.  There have been some minor problems with a few plants either not surviving or not doing well after the harsh winter temperatures; Meridian and the landscape designer, Bev Ricci of Imagine Gardens &Landscapes, already took care of one group of perennials that did not survive the summer last fall and I am sure that Meridian will take care of the rest of the problems within the warranty period.

The Meridian Landscaping crew and the designer Bev Ricci of Imagine Gardens & Landscapes did an excellent job.  I cannot be more thrilled with the quality of the work and their attention to detail.  My front and back yards look like a groomed park!  The Meridian crew fit in the removal of the dying dogwood at the last minute.  I didn't realize they would even weed the front walk, and they also swept off the deck and front walk before they left.  The result was a very pleasant picture when I returned home from work at the end of the day.  My yard is once again a relaxing haven to enjoy.  And many thanks to Bev Ricci for finding the Russian sage plant to complete the deck landscaping.

They do a great job.  The result of the landscape around the house is very good.  They are reliable and they show up on time.  The people are friendly and courteous, all that stuff.   

I think they are kind of expensive but they do such a good job and it?s worth it.  I pay monthly to complete everything; they cut the grass, do some mulch, trim the trees, rake up the leaves and absolutely everything on the outside.   

For the price, I don?t really know because I don?t know what the fair price is for that.  So it seems normal to me.  We will continue to use them.  

Love the guys at Meridian.  Professional, knowledgeable, trust worthy.  I am moving to a new house and have already contacted Matt to design a master plan!

I had a very good experience with them. I would say to friends to use them because they're good and you get a lot for the money. I'm going to call them again in the spring.

The landscape designer worked with me to generate a detailed plan showing the hardscape work with the new plants, along with pics and descriptions of all plants. I modified some elements and the project began. The hardscape portion of the work was the toughest to conceive and to build, with elevation changes in several directions; but with my regular input and their willingness to adapt to necessary changes in the design, it all ended up looking very nice. The retaining walls in the back gave a good visual connection between the walls on either side of the house, and the look of the place from the back was transformed from a house on stilts over the ground to a solid structure with outdoor living spaces and well-organized (and hidden) storage spaces on two levels. The plants and trees take a while to mature into what the designer envisioned, but now look fantastic. The original work was done in 2012, but I neglected to write a review at the time. This April (2 years after the project was completed), I contacted Meridian's owner, Matt Kucik, to request that he come out and assess a handful of items that I felt needed to be fixed. Some of the pavers had settled in areas subject to rainfall. None of the walls had settled, only some paver stones behind the walls. Matt sent one of Meridian's hardscape experts, Arthur, over to walk it with me. Arthur agreed that a repair was needed, and Matt scheduled the work. Matt showed up on the first day, then Kelvin and 2 other guys worked solid for two days taking up the pavers in the settled areas, adding more stone and sand, even cutting some paver stones to achieve an improved fit around columns. Everything was then machine-tamped, and the final look was as good as the day it was first finished. Meridian also brought over several plants and planted them where the originals didn't make it, despite being beyond their plant warranty period. Meridian did a good job on a project with a lot of challenges and a very discerning/picky owner who knows enough , like many good companies do. Their follow-up performance, however, necessitated this write up. How a company deals with substantial issues well after they've been paid is what makes that company one that I would use again or recommend to others.

This was a challenging project due to the steep hill in the back yard, wherein big boulders and stepping stones had to be moved and positioned manually since no equipment could be operated on the steep terrain. The crew and management made extra effort not only to fulfill the contract and the design plan, but were very flexible with respect to any obstacles that occurred throughout the project. In addition, high attention to customer's wishes and suggestions was always considered. The quality of the work was excellent. Job well done, thanks!

Crew worked well together. The stonework for the stepping path was excellent. Site was clean and neat when finished. Proposal was a bit skimpy on details. I called Meridian and asked for a follow-up proposal in 2012; The salesman came by to talk, but I never received the promised proposal. So, I was left with the impression that my job was too small to be of interest to Meridian, and will not call them again.

Wonderful! We would highly recommend Meridian. Our Designer was Ava Krogmann of Imagine Gardens and Landscapes. It was her beautiful vision that Meridian worked from. And Ava oversaw every step of the process. We couldn't be happier!

Matt Kucik was thorough, took time to assess my needs, and promptly provided me with a ball-park estimate. He made a great suggestion in alternative to my original plan, which I will most likely implement. He followed-up by arranging a meeting with a designer.

Went very well with prompt service once we got a date on the books.

I found Meridian through their Landscape Designer, Bev Ricci, who served as our designer and project coordinator. Bev served as our interface with Meridian and was on site daily. Meridian created a beautiful landscape in front of our home, installed a PA fieldstone wall which is set in mortar, planted bushes, a crepe myrtle, and relocated existing bushes and plants. The crew was timely, hard working, skilled, and cleaned the area when done. Thanks to Bev, we have the curb appeal we always wanted and stayed within budget. We are thoroughly pleased.

It was a smaller job, because I had been in my house for awhile. It was less than $1000, but they did a very good job.

The experience was all positive. After-sales service has been excellent, with questions quickly answered and early lighting-related tweaks performed with no fuss or extra expense. We'd use Meridian again without hesitation .

Work was done professionally and on time. Very good to deal with. Made sure that everything was done well. Would definitely use them again.

It went went well from start to finish. Matt had excellent suggestions on the design and materials. I especially like the design of the stoop. The stone chosen matches the patio that Meridian built in my back yard last year. I couldn't have designed the stoop and sidewalk project myself, so I welcomed Matt's design ideas. Matt was very flexible with the scheduling. Every single question that I asked was answered in a clear and thorough way.
The workmanship was excellent. The connection from the sidewalk to the driveway is perfect. There is no bump there. The workers had to work around a lot of mature plants very close to the sidewalk. They did so without damaging my plants. They had to dig up a few of my plants to make room to work, and they re-planted them when they were finished. Matt and Arthur checked on the project during the work and after it was finished. Matt and Arthur are very nice to work with and they both have customer satisfaction and quality workmanwhip at the top of their list.

We were having an issue with water collecting in one area on the concrete deck surrounding our pool. The drain was clogged with dirt, but even had it been clear the water didn't have anywhere to go. We had another issue of dirt spilling over onto part of the deck whenever it rained. We spoke with another landscaping company that suggested putting in a french drain, but we weren't really satisfied with that approach. Meridian came out, quickly assessed the situation, and came up with a workable and aesthetically pleasing solution. I was so impressed with them that I ended up hiring them for additional work as part of the same job. After I signed the contract and paid the deposit, I didn't hear anything from them and had to call the to find out if they had received my deposit and whether we had been added to the schedule. The Friday before they were scheduled to arrive on Monday, I reached out again to verify that they were still coming, as planned, given that my husband had taken off work to be here, only to find out that they were behind schedule and weren't planning to come out until the next day. After explaining that my husband couldn't change his schedule at this point, they did arrange to come out on Monday, as agreed. At this point I wondered if I had made the right decision by hiring them. That said, once they arrived and began the work, I found out that my initial impression had been correct. They were professional, hard working, and obviously cared about the quality of their work. Since completion, any questions I have had had been answered quickly. They even stopped by to take a look at the work in order to respond to one of my inquiries. While additional work wasn't required, I have no doubt that they would have resolved any issue to our satisfaction, if needed. Meridian did an excellent job, and we wouldn't hesitate to hire them again for future work.

The men worked hard and efficiently all day long. The estimator, John, showed up to check on progress a couple of times during the day. The finished product was very pleasing to me!
