We absolutely love our new large and beautiful bathroom and we have received so many compliments on it from close family and friends. M&D Home Repairs & Remodeling has worked on a number of renovation projects in our house, including building out our 4th floor attic and a bedroom in our basement. Every job that they have done for us has been excellent, well-built and well finished. We’ve been very, very happy with all their work! Ivan, the owner, is extremely professional, knowledgeable, dependable, honest, and easily accessible. He worked closely with us on every aspect of the master bathroom project and gave us useful and creative ideas all along the way. Ivan is a perfectionist. He pays attention to every detail. Great job. Easy to work with. Reasonable pricing.

It was a tough job. I had already done some wainscoting and will wood wall, finished it and wanted to make sure that they covered everything well to save me time later. There was some added complexity for where the seams would meet. I could not be more pleased with the work. It was great. Seams are perfect with the wood. Could not have asked for a better job. wanted some soundproofed drywall for the ceiling. This did not turn out as well as I had hoped. They added a premade double layer of drywall rather than the purple drywall to deaden sound. Still for the cost and experience of the crews, this job was great. I'd give it an A- or B+.

We throughly enjoyed working with Ivan, the owner. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable, reliable and a joy to work with. Ivan was extremely responsive with calls and texts. He is very honest and takes pride in his company. Ivan has completed two different projects for us. He helped us design and finish our large 4th floor attic. His suggestions were invaluable and extremely helpful. Because he did such an outstanding job on our attic project, we happily called him a year later to design and finish a bedroom in our basement. M&D did a fantastic job on both projects. His crew were very meticulous, hard working, reliable and always cleaned up each day, before leaving. We highly recommend Ivan and his company, M&D Remodeling and we’ll definitely use them for other projects in our home.

Unfortunately, this company does not respond to requests for estimates. One of the most important items when hiring a contractor is communication. If they don't respond before being hired, I would not expect great communication afterwards. I would recommend finding a company that responds to Angie's List.

We chose to remove all 80's style textured ceilings from the first floor of our house and have recessed lighting installed. Ivan's initial walk-through was very thorough, and he explained the different techniques that his team could provide to complete the job. His estimate was the lowest of the four that we selected. The quote and his knowledge were the reason that we selected them for the job. Ivan's teams were always clean, on time, polite, and experienced. Ivan was always available for numerous questions and always had the answer. The job looks amazing and we are very pleased with the final product! We will definitely use Ivan and his team again in the future.

These guys have done a few different drywall repair jobs for our rental and our home. They do an amazing job and you can't tell there was ever damage. Good communication and quick responses. Big fans and will call again.

I’ve used M&D Home Repairs & Remodeling on a previous occasion and I plan to use them again (and again). Ivan's crew does a excellent job and I don’t have to worry about the quality of their work. Additionally, the crew has been friendly and easy to work with. The recent projects included converted a small storage room in the basement into a wonderful home gym, installing home cinema equipment (projector, in-ceiling/wall cabling and receiver) in the basement for a home theater experience, updating the family room with hardware floors, ceiling fans, recessed lighting and painting and the last was back splash for the kitchen counters with under counter lighting and wall microwave. Exceptional, high quality work. I highly recommend M&D.

Overall the project finished out well. The service was due on schedule but slightly above cost. They could/should have told me about the additional cost before heading down that path, but the work did come out well. My job only took 2 days, but if your's is expected to take longer, I suggest touching base with them frequuently to ensure things are progressing as quoted.
