Mr. Tran is the ultimate professional. In addition to his superior technical skills, his customer service interaction is second to none. After diagnosis of each problem, Mr. Tran took the time to explain the exact issue in each instance and provided a price to repair each TV. He doesn't charge by the hour like some TV repair shops. A $95 fee per TV is charged to diagnose the problem and is applied to the cost of the repair. Two TVs were repaired in the shop and one required a home visit ($120 fee) plus cost of repair for the large TV . Mr. Tran delivered the shop repaired TVs when he came for the home visit. I couldn't be happier with Mr. Tran and Glebe TV. All TVs were repaired in less than a week and that included time to order and receive the necessary parts. On a personal note, as an example of the character and caring nature of Mr. Tran, this is what he did for me. Prior to dropping of the TVs, I fell, twisted my ankle and smashed two fingers on my hand. Mr. Tran noticed the swelling on my hand and asked what happened. We talked for a bit and said he had some oil at home that may help reduce the swelling. He called his wife and requested she bring the medicine to the shop which she did. I applied the oil and several hours later the swelling had noticeably gone down. My experience with Glebe TV and Mr. Tran is one that I will always remember. He came out less than an hour after I called, and it took only 20 minutes to finish the repair. He really knows what he is doing and I am very impressed. I would give him A++ if I could!

TV was completely checked. Glebe TV determined that it couldn't be repaired.

H.Tran called me the morning of the appointment to confirm. He showed up on time. My TV is now working like new.

I called Glebe TV as I had used their services twice before, both with great results. They showed up the next day and on time, were very courteous and efficient. Once they opened up the TV and ran the diagnostics they knew exactly what the problem was. They not only replaced the bad part, they cleaned the inside and then recalibrated the TV. His prices are fair, he does great work, and I'd definitely use them again.

The rear projection TV suddenly showed symptoms of a non-functioning blue projection tube. Owner attempts to rectify the situation using the manufacturer's instructions were futile; the gun appeared to be a goner. Checked for TV repairman in our rural area and the closest ones would not reply (all businesses found on Angie's list). Glebe TV repair service center, located 75 miles away, not only responded immediately with a firm appointment within a couple of days, but agreed to travel the extreme distance for only a minor increase in their standard nominal service call fee. Once on the scene, the repairman worked quickly and surely to diagnose the problem as a weakened blue projection tube (not broken) and quickly returned the screen to near-original performance.
My hat is off to these folks...they are the best!

When my 50" flat-screen TV died I checked Glebe TV on Angies List and gave them a call. ( I had used them many years ago and had not needed a TV repair since.) The phone was answered promptly and they promised a return call when Mr. Tran returned. It was the next morning before the call came but he could come the same day. He and an assistant took the TV off the wall and ran some tests.Two components were bad and the work needed to be done in his shop. He gave me the total cost and we discussed whether I should repair it or replace it. He thought it worth the money to repair the needed items but said if he found anything else he wouldn't go any further and only charge the initial service fee ($120). He would have it back in a week. One week later it was back on the wall and everything worked great. I was very pleased with the outcome.

It went great and was extremely satisfied with the price and service.

We own 65in. Mitsubishi HD Projection TV purchased in 2001. While watching TV during a snow storm we lost power. Did not have TV plugged into a surge protector. We could get sound but no picture. Called Glebe TV and Electronics and spoke with Mr. Tram, the owner, He arrived next day and informed us the computer board would need to be replaced and the only other part to this TV should also be replaced because it would probably fail within the next year or so.. Considering we had never had any issues with this TV and never had a service call before we were willing to take his advise and let him do what was necessary . After the repair he spent 15 minutes adjusting the color and doing an alignment of the grids plus cleaning the TV inside and out. End result the picture is beautiful and thanks to Mr. Trams knowledge about the TV we came away with a few helpful hints to maintain the TV in the future. Feel very comfortable in calling him for all of our TV needs and recommending him to others.
