Perfect.  Large foyer.  Two story.  First floor is 9 feet alone.  The chandelier should have involved scaffolding to remove old one and install new one, and I dreaded dealing with that on hardwood floor.   Mr. France had a specialty A-frame  ladder that went all the way up to the two story ceiling.   The company that I bought the 60 pound chandelier from gave me a list of electricians that they recommended and Mr. France was one of them.  He was very personable on the phone.  I cannot recall if he answered immediately or called me back, but it was quick, whereas other places that I  Ieft a voice mail about my project did not call me back.  He used a pully system to lower the old chandelier and raise the new one.  The job took a few hours as setting the ladder up is time consuming: he puts down pads and he constantly works.  It was interesting just watching how the ladder went up and how he used a pully system.  He also installed a new box and reinforced the 2x4's holding the box btwn the rafters in my attic (without having to go into the attic).  It was neat and it was clean, and I am very pleased.

I was alerted to the problem by a serviceman who was working on a different project on the side of the house.  I quickly looked up electrical contractors in the phone book, and he agreed to come over in about 90 minutes, because it was an emergency situation.  He spent about an hour and a half on a very hot afternoon remounting the box.
