We have used Paulanne at Exquisite Designs for two large-scale remodels in our home during the last five years. Initially we hired her for a complete kitchen remodel that included replacing all flooring on the first floor of the home and selecting paint colors for other rooms in addition to the kitchen area. Paulanne is an amazing resource. She was beyond attentive to any and all needs and concerns regarding the remodel. Every choice she made turned out to be wonderful. She kept in constant contact with the contractor to ensure that the remodel was completed in an efficient manner. Her help with cabinet, granite, flooring etc selection was invaluable. Last year we hired Paulanne for another remodel to a master bathroom, the creation of a new guest room, new blinds throughout the home, new carpet, new windows, and a custom walk-in closet among other things. Once again I leaned on her heavily and trusted her with the decisions I could not make – whether it was tile or paint or placement of structures. She managed several different contractors for us and her oversight could not have been better. I have recommended Paulanne to friends over the years – one of which has now hired her for the second time too – and will continue to do so. We cannot be happier with the end results of both of our major remodels.

We’ve only done some minor projects so far but will be doing larger projects down the road. Paulanne has great ideas and quality contractors. She’s honest and easy to work with.

They got a very good sub-contractos for painting, they are on site supervising, they immediately have a company if ever that there is something needs to be done. They work well with the costumer and did an excellent design work.

Great experience, Paulanne was wonderful at helping us pick an interior painting scheme for our home, as well other incidental items we chatted about during the process. She picked up on our tastes quickly and honed in on colors that both accentuated our home and fit our style. She then followed up promptly with a written record of our selections and arranged for larger samples to be shipped to us for finalizing those selections. She made an otherwise overwhelming process very easy and we would definitely recommend her.

This was the best investment we made during our house renovation.  Paint is difficult to choose for us, so we decided to purchase an Angie?s List deal for $500 for paint consult.  We love everything that was chosen and plan to use Paulanne again for other design questions.

We engaged Paulanne and her team as soon as our sales contract was ratified since we had to paint and furnish nearly every room of our new house.  Paulanne assisted us with paint color selections even before we moved in, had some good ideas about paint accents in various rooms,  and helped prioritize furniture purchases.  She introduced us to quality furniture vendors and options we would not have seen locally, and we receive so many compliments on the selections she helped us with.  She worked tirelessly to find us difficult items or pieces we finally loved after rejecting many other choices.  Most of our furniture purchases were custom so they took longer than we would've liked, and some arrived damaged, but Paulanne and her team kept in constant communication and worked to resolve any issues that arose.  Paulanne also assisted us with art placement and accessory ideas and purchases.  Paulanne has a great network of providers and vendors she works with locally and it was a huge help that she coordinated services for us such as furniture repair, electrical work, glass work, wallpaper, and hardwood floor vents.  She and her team were also available to assist with furniture deliveries and placement and because of various trade accounts, were able to procure some things at better prices than we would have received elsewhere. Overall, it was a good experience working with Paulanne and we're pleased with how everything looks.

We are in the middle of working with Paulanne and her team, and the job so far is fantastic.    The job escalated from simply furnishing a few rooms, to adding on additional rooms and doing a re-paint of the house, electrical, window treatments, carpeting, and AV work with vendors recommended by Paulanne.   Throughout this process Paulanne and her team have been excellent at communicating, providing various options, shopping with us, and being patient as we continually added on new work.   She gives you a lot of different options that match your style, and she has an innate sense of what you are looking for.  We are greatly looking forward to the finished project!  (that is, if we ever actually "finish" it as it seems we are always adding to her workload!)

First impressions were brilliant.  Cold called Paulanne and was greeted with a warm confident connection ready to listen to my dreams of brightening a loft-high ceiling in my condo.  She was patient with understanding my desires, complimenting a very contemporary condo building, and understood the long-term impacts of a rather expensive investment. She was very responsive via phone, text, and email to all my questions, and she would reach out when she needed to clarify my intent.  Keep in mind; I trusted her to lead this project from afar (1K miles away) with tenants. She delivered immensely and without any cause of alarm. My tenants were very appreciative of her courtesy with minimizing impacts to them as she measured, took necessary pictures for me, and arranged the installation around their busy schedules.  Paulanne is a blessing.

a much smaller urban townhouse.   She advised us about what would fit in our new

Paulanne of Exquisite Designs transformed my nice, but outdated home into a stunning, modern, comfortable space that I LOVE.  I get rave  reviews from family, friends and neighbors on the transformation and continue  to be amazed by the difference.
 Paulanne designed the remodel of my kitchen including floors, granite countertops, painted cabinets, backslash and lighting.   She also oversaw the painting of the entire main level  of my home (kitchen, dinning and living room), the installation of wood floors for the entire main level, new lighting in the living room, foyer, and half bath , the installation of new draperies and art work, and the purchase of  new furniture (tables, ottomans, dinning table and chairs, foyer table) and area carpets.  She also purchased several accessories items. 
I couldn't be happier.  The companies she used to do the work are outstanding and she carefully supervises them to ensure excellence.  While she is upfront that the companies she uses aren't the 'cheapest', she strongly supports how good they are, which was proven to me first hand.   She came out to my home frequently to oversee the work and/or to consult with me.  She also is very accessible by both phone and email.  
Paulanne was careful to work within my budget and to utilize furniture/accessories that I already had.  She is a creative thinker and gave  me  suggestions that  I never would have thought of on my own (placement of furniture, dark paint color in the half bath, etc. etc).
Because I could not always be home when the work was being done, it was comforting to know that Paulanne or her assistant were often on site.  Also, the companies she uses are very trustworthy and I had no problems whatsoever.
I will definitely use Paulanne again .  I've also referred her to  neighbors and  friends.

Paulanne is a treasure.  Her goal is to get to know you and what you like.  She helped us choose what would please our eyes and that we would be comfortable with.  She encouraged us to choose our more traditional style and ignore the trends.  She suggested a great interior painter and terrific re-upholsterer, but never insisted we had to use people she suggested.  Instead of replacing a high quality table that was too tall, she recommended a service provider who expertly lowered the existing table.
We consider her a friend and value her ideas and suggestions.  We will definitely use her again for future projects.

It took much longer than expected.  They shopped for me and placed things in the house.  I was satisfied with what they did.  They are good at what they do.  They were always available for questions and concerns.  Overall they were very good and I would recommend them to friends.

Last fall I decided to take the plunge and renovate my basement family room which had not been updated since the house was built in 1983.  I had a general idea of the look I wanted to achieve, but did not know where to begin.  I was also working with a limited budget.  I realized that I needed a professional decorator's assistance, but was a bit worried about the potential cost.  Paulanne Gregson, the owner of Exquisite Designs was recommended to me as a decorator who did outstanding work within her clients' budgets.  I met with Paulanne for a consultation and knew right away that I wanted to work with her.  She was knowledgeable, warm and personable.  She understood what I wanted to accomplish, and had great suggestions regarding how to make it happen.  

Paulanne made the process a pleasure, providing an excellent overall plan and executing it with precision within budget.  My "new" room is both beautiful and comfortable - everything I hoped for and more!
