They were professional and seemed to be a reputable company. Their service techs seemed to know what they were doing. I would probably use them again for this particular type of garage door opener, but not for another type of garage door opener.

In all encounters, the staff was extremely knowledgeable, very responsive (even though they are headquartered in Sterling and our building is on Capitol Hill, DC), professional and courteous.

I called Cristar this morning to see about getting scheduled for a garage door repair and was surprised that they would be in my neighborhood later that morning, inspite of the mountains of snow still on the roads, on another repair and would be able to stop by and take care of my door right away. The repair man called prior to arriving and was prompt. He executed the repair in a reasonable amount of time and I was satisfied with the work.

It was excellent! They came when they were supposed to. We were able to get a quick appointment with them. It was the next day after we discovered the problem.

I had researched them and the spring system runs above the top and in front of the garage door, and is completely encased, which is a safety issue. Our garage doors never had windows before. It is great to have the light coming into the garage, so that has improved the energy efficiency. We don't have to turn the lights on every time we go into the garage during the day. The other thing we really like is the exterior keypad. It is a great convenience. The installer showed up on time. He spent a day installing and did a great job. I did have to have him come back because when he installed them he had tied into some of the existing wiring for one of the keypads, and it was older wiring. He did replace that and took care of everything with no problem.

They were very good and hauled the old one away. They were very professional and sell a good product.
