Fabulous. The people are friendly. They know you. They remember things. My doctor is fabulous. She is very forward thinking and she's always being careful. She treats my dogs the way I want them to be treated. She's fantastic.

My 14 year old cat was attacked by relative Great Dane type dog. Within 5 minutes of the attack, we were rushing through the door to into the waiting arms of the awesome folks at Countryside AC.
Drs Wright, Thigpen and staff worked their butts off to get my poor tabby stabilized while concurrently coordinating emergency care with TLC in Leesburg, VA.
Once my cat was as stable as could be, they sent a vet tech with us to TLC so the tech could administer the oxygen needed to keep the cat stable on the approximately 15 - 20 minute car ride.
While the ultimate outcome was not positive, and we did have to put the cat to sleep because of his massive injuries, the professional and compassionate staff at Countryside AC provided the first level of care which extended the cats life until we could reach a 'trauma' center for further evaluation. Had Countrside AC not of been available or able to assist, I doubt the cat would of even made it to TLC in Leesburg.
I cannot thank the talented and caring staff enough for giving 110% to my kitty.

The appointment went well. Dr Thigpen and the tech were very good with the cats. I did at times feel like I was being overly pushed on their paw plan though.

Dr. Thigpen and the staff at Countryside are amazing people that truly care about animals and love their jobs. I had scheduled Callie, my 18-yr-old Corgi mix, for some teeth cleaning. Her pre-op tests came back a little out of whack. When Dr. Thigpen investigated, she discovered 3 large malignent masses in Callie's kidneys. They allowed me the time to come to terms with putting her down, made her comfortable and treated her with tremendous respect. A lot of the staff were just as heartbroken as I was because they loved my Callie as much as I did.
I have been using Countryside for all my pets needs since I moved into the area 13 years ago. I will continue to use them when I new member joins the family. They are the only vet I will ever use.

During an ultra sound Dr. Thigpen identified 2 small masses (tumors) in my dogs liver which needed to be addressed. She coordinated with another doctor and arranged for a consultation for further diagnosis. The end result was my dog having surgery to remove the two tumors - we are waiting on pathology to determine if they were or were not malignant. The thoroughness, professionalism and attention to detail of Dr. Thigpen prevented the tumors from spreading to surrounding organs and will no doubt enable our beloved beagle to remain with us for a few additional years.

We most recently visited Dr. Thigpen when my female beagle stopped eating. While the end result was her being put to sleep (by Dr. Thigpen) about a month later because the cancer was progressing too fast to bring it under control - Dr. Thigpen was an incredible, compassionate and just all around awesome person. She made herself available whenever we called with questions relating to the treatment and prognosis from another specialist in Vienna. She helped guide us through our brief journey fighting this illness, provided honest and frank answers to our questions and in the end helped us make the right decision for our awesome beagle. In the end tears were shed by not only us but also Dr. Thigpen and the vet tech staff - for they had been taking care of my beautiful beagle girl for 8 years and had grown pretty attached to her - just as I and my wife were.
I cannot emphasize enough the care and passion these fine vets @ Countryside exhibit. You experience more than just a service provider / customer relationship - you have a trusted team focused on your pet(s) well being.

They are really, really good. A lady that I go to church with recommended them. They went out of their way to do everything they could. When I called, they would take me at the last minute if she was having problems. They even came to my house to put her to sleep because they were so fond of my dog. I didn't just want to take her and drop her off because it was so stressful for the dog and owner. I would highly recommend them. They came up with ways to make her more comfortable. They took her back to the hospital and kept her until the mortician came. They bent over backwards and every time I go there, they treat me very special. The normal charge is around $35-60. They go above and beyond. They are very friendly and they acknowledge me when I go in. They always want to know what they can do. They send me emails and they always send me notices to make sure that I am aware of when I should come. I've gone to several other veterinarians that looked like they were only trying to get money. Here they do what is necessary. It was really a tough time when my dog passed and they kept the dog comfortable and always wanted to know what they could do. I wouldn?t go to anybody else.

With routine care, we ended up with a list of 10 medications - some prescription and some over the counter. Not comfortable with that many medications for a human, definitely not for an animal. Switched vets as soon as possible.

Since I have been going for 26 years it would be too long and detailed to go into here, but suffice to say, I would not be going to them for 26 years if I didn't know they were the best.

They are okay. I have a cat right now that I can’t catch. He has not had human contact as a baby so I take him there. I take my other animals there too. I feel they are a little too expensive. I had to put a cat to sleep few years ago and I was not able to get a hold of my daughter who was fond of that car. I was hysterical. I bought a box and they put her in that box and kept her for me until my daughter got back to town. It was so nice of them to do that. I recommended them to my neighbor who did not go to them as he found them to be very expensive.
