It is a little drive to it. The service itself was fine. They gave me a courtesy car wash that was like an “F” because it a courtesy, not a service I paid for. I haven’t gone to different places to get any work done on my car, so I don’t have a comparison. I have a service contract with them, so I have to use them again. It takes about an hour to do the work. The best thing is the convenience.

They always forget something in my car.  Last time they forgot to close the cap of the oil going to the engine. I am very disappointed.

didn't pass the *** test, so i brought it to another auto service center, one recommended and used by me before for general auto maintenance - explained the situation - they told me nothing was wrong, they wheels/tires aligned with no issue, nothing prevented the work from being done

First of all, I am a new car purchaser from Brown's Dulles Nissan, so I probably expected a little better treatment for a buyer that has already given them much profit. I found a used vehicle for my daughter on the Brown's Fairfax Nissan website for $9,994. I found that exact same vehicle on the cars.com website for $9,994 (by the way, the Kelly Blue Book based upon age, mileage, features, etc was $8,300 not taking into account the accident that the vehicle had been in). I initiated contact with Brown's Dulles Nissan in order to hopefully get a best price. They (Mario) advised me that for "ME" they would discount the car by $1,000 to $9,994 (huh?). Was Mario telling me that "just for me" (a previous new car purchaser from Brown's) that I could purchase the car for the published price.
Is this deceptive advertising (two different prices at three different websites)? Is it a Brown's practice to offer a vehicle to potential buyers at different published prices and the buyer has the responsibility to search for there lowest PUBLISHED price? Also the cars.com website had the carfax report that the vehicle had been in an accident, ironic that neither one of the Brown's websites offered up that information.

The workers are okay.  It took over an hour to complete even with an appointment.  They are open on Saturdays.  The waiting room has coffee and is average.  Their attention to detail could be a little better.  I normally drop off the car at night and pick it up the next afternoon.

My rear camera on the car was not working, so I took it to them. I was charged $120 for investigating the cause. I was called later in the day and was told that it would take $700 to fix. I said I was okay with that. When I reached there to pick up the car they said they could not fix it because there was something wrong with the electrical harness in the hatch. They asked me to replace the hatch (buy a hatch from a scrap yard) at a body shop, since changing the rear harness would be too expensive.
However, I was not convinced with their explanation. and took the car to a trusted body shop. They opened up the wiring in the rear and found that there was a short, but it was not it the wiring of the hatch - they actually showed me that. It was somewhere further down. I paid the body shop $100 because they 1. found the exact problem 2. tried really hard to get to the problem - they worked on it for 3 days.
I have not repaired the short yet, since I could not leave the car for longer (I do not have a second car) and also since, luckily it has not affected any of the other systems yet.
On the plus side, Brow's Nissan did not charge me anything above the diagnostic charge of $120. I was also allowed to get a replacement vehicle for that day at no extra charge, but looking at the work the body shop guys did (effort and correct diagnosis), I would call Brown's Nissan a rip off.

This was supposed to be a $1,400 job for the exhaust. Went OK, then when I picked up the car the engine light came on within 4 miles. Ok, now needed $400 worth of additional work, oh and they noticed that the right rear shock was leaking. OK, total now is $2,600. Oh, and when they did a third visual inspection they "noticed" that the right rear axle was leaking fluid. Need another $400 worth of work.
They used to be a good company. If you had a big job, like mine at $1,400, then you could get your car inspected at no cost.
Not any more. Every dollar counts.
Take your car their expecting to double or triple the cost it should take.

anot to go into great detail but my wifes car was in their 4 times to fix or find out what this creaking, thunking noises are that were coming from underneath the car of a 2010 nissan sentra when pulling out 1st thing in the morning or around turns sometimes but not all the time but more frequently....They couldn't find anything and it doesn't surprise me because it was under warranty, but I am sure if it wasn't we would of gotten a oh yeah its a whatcha calling thing a mig jing broke or is bad that would be $750 or so dollars. I had my old altima get hit and a 1 year later noticed wet carpets. I took it in 2x to the dealer and spent total of 8hrs pulling my car apart and taking up the interior and they couldn't find the problem. I went back to my insurance guy and he said right away what the problem was before taking the car apart, and he was right. broken sunroof part that was aplastic piece that helps water drain from the sunroof to outside the car and that piece caused water to drain inside my car. These guys need more schooling or training in the service dept. we decided not to waste our time with them and ended up getting a deal on a new toyota instead.
