Augustine's pricing is very reasonable compared to other quotes, and they were the quickest to respond and did not mind that I asked a lot of questions. Everyone throughout the whole process was very courteous, professional and very pleasant to deal with. They were very punctual and notified me in advance when they had to reschedule due to a snowstorm. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking to replace their roof.

We received 3 quotes and Augustine was by far the best combination of price, quality roofing products and professional workers. If we had chosen the option with the standard quality of roofing materials, rather than the premium level, the price would have been lower. They were extremely prompt and responsive from the initial visit and providing the estimate, through the scheduling and installation. They cleaned up everything around all sides of the house, including anything that fell into or behind the plants at the perimeter of the house. They even returned to remove a stray wire from the previous homeowner that emerged during the gutter replacement. Iani, Tony and Bill were all very pleasant, professional and responsive. We would highly recommend Augustine Roofing, and we would definitely use them again.

Very pleased with the service and work....from estimating through completion and follow up. Any questions, issues, and/or concerns that we raised were promptly addressed to our complete satisfaction. I was impressed with how quickly the Augustine team was able to remove and replace the roof as it is large and complex (many hips and valley's). Pricing was competitive based on three other bids...not the lowest but not the highest.

The job went very smoothly, from the initial consultation, answering questions, doing the roof and the gutters. The price was very competitive and we ultimately decided to go with them because of the strong recommendations from two of our friends who had used them for their roofing needs. Mother Nature intervened with a late winter storm so Augustine Roofing finished the roof and gutters just prior to the storm and came back and finished the installation of the gutter screens as soon as conditions allowed. We were very impressed with the crews that came out, their professionalism and the speed in which they got the work done. They did a very good job cleaning up after the work. The interaction with the company office staff was also quick and professional. We are very happy with the final product and we would highly recommend them to our other friends and neighbors.

Great! Augustine Roofing was very responsive to our needs from the very first contact. They reviewed and handled the insurance quote professionally and even suggested upgrading shingles because there was enough money to do so (the first company we spoke with wanted even more money just to start and they were not going to upgrade the shingles either). When things got delayed due to the mailing of the insurance check, Augustine Roofing was able to get us on their schedule as a priority and brought enough crew to finish the entire job in less than a day (started ~9am and finished by 4pm - hours before a snow storm hit the area). I cannot recommend this company enough for your roofing needs, I would work with them again without question. Everyone we spoke to or interacted with were very kind and helpful, made us feel like they genuinely cared about helping us through this stressful ordeal.

Tony and Iani were great. We narrowed it done our search to 2 roofing contractors, based upon Yelp and Angie's List reviews. The other roofing company was nice enough, but tried to get us to sign a letter stating that whatever our insurance company gave us to have the roof replaced would go directly to them. Never having a roof replaced before, I wasn't sure if this was a normal practice; however, it just seemed like an odd request so we politely declined to sign the form. We also had to ask the other roofing company repeatedly for an estimate. Augustine Roofing was transparent from the start. Iani came out on a Saturday to inspect our roof, and that Monday they had emailed us the estimate, which was significantally cheaper than the other roofing estimate. Again, not ever having a roof replaced, I called Augustine Roofing in order to better understand the estimate. Tony spent well over 30 minutes going through the invoice line by line with me. The only glitch came when, one of the ladders that the gutter installers were using, crashed into our gas line going into the house due to a freak gust of wind. Tony and Iani apologized profusely and helped us resolve the issue. I believe the true test of a company's character is not giving good customer service when everything goes right, but when something really unusual happens and that company steps up to the plate to make everything right. Beyond the shadow of a doubt, I would hire Augustine Roofing again. Deal with confidence with this company.

So rare. They told us what was going to happen and then it happened. Dropped the material off the day before, came with a big crew and did the tear off. They replaced some rotted sheathing, put new roofing on [including flashings] and finished same day. They were nice enough to install a few fall protection anchors we had purchased for when we clean the gutters. I am an exterior Architect and I am impressed with their knowledge and execution. I wish my day job went so smoothly.

had the roof replacement done a few days ago, the whole team did a great job of being punctual and professional especially Tony and Iani were great. they were able to complete the whole job of replacing the roof starting the estimate till fixing the roof, cleaning up, etc, in a short time without dragging much. And would greatly appreciate Iani for going that extra step to paint a vent pipe extension on my roof after they completed the replacement.

We bought our house last summer knowing the roof would likely need replaced in the near future. Unfortunately, that came quicker than we had hoped. We talked to three companies, including Augustine, and Augustine was definitely the best. They were never sales-pitchy, and even though the initial inspector was running late and didn't quite make the time window, he did communicate and made it out. He was respectful of our time, as well. Our flat roof needed to be completely replaced, and while Augustine's prices weren't the cheapest of our three companies, they offered a lot more and were willing to work to fit our budget. They put up with our constant questions and our changing minds with professionalism and grace. We had impossibly bad timing with weather as we started this in the middle of winter, so our installation date needed to be moved three different times (it has to be above a certain temperature and clear weather for the duration of the installation). Once it actually was nice enough to install the roof, the crew was able to finish in less than two days even though it was originally estimated to take up to three days. the crew cleaned up after each day, and our back porch was actually cleaner after they left than before they showed up. There were a few instances throughout the process where it was difficult to get in touch with someone at Augustine. I had to call a few times or send a few emails, but someone always eventually got back to me. This didn't hinder the project significantly in any way. Overall, Bill and his team are excellent, and we're very happy to have a roof that won't leak.

Quality of work and communications from the company were spot on. There were numerous delays in starting the job because if weather. They did a great job at keeping me informed about the delays in a timely manner.

Company installed new roof on home in 2009. Selling house and roofing issues were identified during home inspection. On-site repair estimate was coordinated for needed repairs and occurred on Feb. 10 (Friday) as agreed. Written estimate was provided the following Monday. Attempts to coordinate the actual repair date (phone, email) went unanswered. Called office on 2/23 and left message. Repairman showed up unannounced same day at 3 PM (luckily I was home that day). Professionalism of repairman was great and the quality of his work was acceptable. Scheduling issues, poor responsiveness, and high repair cost ($780 for approx. $100 in materials and $680 for 2 hours labor) will prevent using again, .

I purchased a home in Sterling November 2016. Part of the closing deal was that the home owner pay for section of roof on part of my house. Initial estimates from other roofers came in at a figure $1,000 hirer than Augustine did. Initially the home owner wanted someone else from Maryland. It appeared the homeowner was trying to pull something over on us. When I finally suggested they use Augustine Roofing to get the quote they did, and I couldn't be happier. I called for the work to be done in December but was informed if I wanted the work done right to I would have to wait until it warmed up. First warm day in January I decided to go Trout Fishing, when I came home I found a good looking new roof. Both my father, father in law and Uncle in law all have commented that the roof looks really good. I was actually planning on using them again for a smaller project on an attached shed I have in the back.

Excellent -- the only issue I had was weather -- Augustine's made sure that if the weather wasn't appropriate they would not risk doing the job . I dealt mainly with Tony and he was wonderful working with me in trying to make this happen in a timely fashion. Tony kept me up-to-date on the entire project. Tony responded promptly to all phone calls and e-mails. I’m a long distance away from the home being repaired and the team at Augustine’s made me feel trusted in them that this job was going to be completed very professionally. I can’t say enough about this great team. The finished product is excellent.

It was very easy to get on the calendar for an estimate. Iani came out on a bitter cold day, was very professional and thorough with his assessment. He walked the entire roof several times. We had gotten a couple of dubious estimates from other companies. Iani did not try to oversell but was honest with his estimate of the scope of work to be done. The team was on time from delivery to install to haul away. They put down tarp to protect the plants and shrubs from any debris. They were very mindful of keeping the debris from falling all over the yard. They were quick and efficient.

The overall experience was great from start to finish, from initial discussion, to written estimate, to follow-on questions, to the roof replacement itself.
