I gave them the information over the phone, they said they would call back they never call back, I called back again, left my name and phone number and they never call.
Several weeks after picking up the furniture from our house, Yasser invited us to his workshop. He wanted us to see the dresser and the top of the cedar chest after the original finish on both had been removed and careful sanding had been completed. At that time, we selected the finish we wanted for both pieces and were shown options for repairing the damage done to the dresser. Yasser carefully explained each step of the proposed restoration process, We were impressed by his passion for the work, and his concern for complete satisfaction with the results. We eagerly waited for his phone call several weeks later that the pieces were ready for our inspection.
Back to the workshop we went, not sure exactly how things would turn out. When we entered the store, there in front of us was the finished dresser. It was stunning! The finish was a beautiful dark walnut, with no evidence of the water stains! The cigarette burn was almost completely gone and the keyhole had been expertly reset. The broken moldings looked almost new.
We looked around to find the cedar chest and couldn't immediately locate it. It was then that Yasser appeared and pointed to a gorgeous walnut piece behind us. It was the cedar chest, and it was absolutely beautiful. No sign of the green paint remained. He had completely taken it apart and meticulously removed the old paint from every inch of the piece.
Yasser delivered both units to our home that evening and carefully placed them in their original locations. He and his assistant spent about an hour attaching the mirror to the dresser and making sure we were happy with the finished work. Words can't describe how happy we are with the results. Antiques & Furniture Restorations is a first class operation, with a small, dedicated staff that cares deeply about their customer's satisfaction. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a team that really understands their craft and strives for excellent results!
