A & P CONTRACTORS

We contacted A&P contractors Saturday night during the big snow storm the weekend prior to Christmas 2009. Aldo was the only contractor who could provide snow removal service that weekend. Aldo was just finishing a job when we contacted him via phone. He came right over and plowed the driveway with the plow on his truck. By this time we had about 20 to 24 inches of snow. The biggest problem was where to put the snow from the driveway and Aldo did the best he could to distribute the snow so that it was not in the way. He then brought out a large snow blower from the truck and cleared the top part of the driveway near the cars and garage. He did a great job in minimal time and asked for a reasonable price, especially given the circumstances. He was very professional and courteous. I was very pleased with his work and his attitude to do the job right and as best as could be done. I would definitely contact him again for snow removal, hopefully in advance next time.

THE WOOD FLOOR WAS ABOUT 1800 SQUARE FEET, AND THE BASEMENT WAS ABOUT 25 X 30. THE PRICE WAS ABOUT THE SAME, $15,000 PER JOB. THE WORK WAS DONE VERY CAREFULLY AND TO MY SPECIFICATIONS. IT ALSO INCLUDED MOST MATERIALS, ALL THE ELECTRICAL WORK, AND ALL THE CLEAN UP. THE FOLLOW UP ITEMS WERE DONE VERY PROMPTLY AND COURTEOUSLY, INCLUDING THINGS THAT I DIDN'T THINK OF, LIKE PUTTING IN A SMOKE DETECTOR AND ADDING NEW BANISTERS. THEY WERE GREAT TO WORK WITH. IT WAS MY FIRST MAJOR REMODELING JOB, SO MY EXPECTATIONS WERE VERY HIGH.
