He missed the wire snip in the well head and pulled the entire well out. Took about 2 hours for him to realize the problem was right in the well head and he didnt need to pull it out at all- he just didnt see it. Them he charged me for the entire time even though he spent 15minutes looking for a lost tool he misplaced and his mistake at missing the problem to begin with. He put in a couple of parts for which he later charged me for several more parts than i believe he used because i was out there watching the work and heard him take out 3 parts(but got a bill of 12 parts). Then, when i attempted to pay for services right there he refused to provide me with a bill or even a workorder stating he would "get back to me" and had to go vack to the office to "figure it up". That was july.. He never sent a bill until later in the winter near christmas marked FINAL NOTICE with 12 parts and 2 hours time stating he would send me to collections if i didnt pay immediately. I researched the well parts he said he used and they were several times the cost of a retail well parts store on line. I sent him a letter asking him to come out and show me the parts he claims to have used and i would pay him a reasonable price both for his work and the parts he actually used.. He refused to show me the parts and i recieved a letter from a lawyer to take me to court. I had to pay this incredibly dishonest business or recieve a judgement on my record. Not disputing that i owed him something, i certainly expected that we could discuss what i thought was an error in billing and later learned appeared to be a clear attempt to bully a single mom into paying for not only his professional mistake and time looking for his lost tools, but also for parts i dont believe he used on my job and an attempt to charge userous rates for those parts. Cant do without a well, and i wasnt in the old boys network, so i got taken... This company was very dishonest with me, and i wouldnt ever recommend them to anyone!

Overall, we appreciated Shirley Well being able to repair the well and doing so in a timely manner so that we could close on the house.  They also made some other recommendations with regards to the plumming set up so we are going to have a plummer come out and do some more work.  We would recommend Shirley Well...obviously since we used them more than onces!
