Speedy Rooter - Staunton

I had a sewer backup in the house, Speed Rooter came in and removed the toilet and ran a snake down througn the pipes to unclog , which seems to work but the guy said he thought he saw some mud, so he thought there was a crack in the pipe and he would need to look inside the pipe with a camera.  When he ran the camera through the pipe it wouldn't go through the pipe to the outsid pipe because of the way the pipes were connected inside, so he said he would have to go outside and dig a hole and put in a cleanout so he could run his camera in the outside pipe to find the crack. I saw what seemed to be a small ridge at the base of the pipe which connected to the city sew line with an ample opening to let the sewer through. I feel that the so called mud he saw was just sewer waste since his snake could not go to the outside of the house either and the outside pipes were clean. I feel that I paid 3 times or more than I should have to have a clogged drain opened. He also said there was not enough fall or slope in the pipe in basement and fixed that. I feel if I hadn't had common sense, asked questions and asked to see the issue this company would have dug up my whole yard and cement driveway to fix something that didn't need to be fixed. Also they charged me $295 for the camera which they said they would remove that charge if they had to dig but in the end still charged me $150. I feel like I got ripped off!!
