The workers were very good and very prompt. I didn't have to wait long.

My husband always takes the vehicle and we never had any problem.  I have been satisfied and happy.

They are very responsive and easy to work with. They will also give you advise on your car for future work. They also check all the fluids during the oil change. They do take care of you. They are competitive with their pricing.

My check engine light had come on so I went to Autozone to have them
pull the codes. There were 5 problem codes that came up. I researched
them on the internet and found that there is a Technical Service
Bulletin (TSB) out from Toyota/Scion regarding this issue which is
common to the make/model of my car. I went to Mcdonough Toyota in
Staunton to get a quote on fixing the problem. From my research, I knew
that it shouldn't be more than $800.00 to fix. Mcdonough insisted on
running the diagnostics again for $40 (that Autozone had done for free)
and they only pulled one code. They diagnosed that the charcoal
canister and the camshaft timing gear assembly needed to be replaced for
a grand total $1277. They never pulled the TSB.
I then called Steven Toyota in Harrisonburg for their quote on the exact same job.
They said they would do it for $925. I made an appointment with them.
When I brought it in and explained why I wanted this work done, they
went ahead and ran the diagnostic, found the TSB and fixed the problem
(which was replacing the charcoal canister) for $560.
I was very disappointed with Mcdonough and doubt I will ever go back there.

My wife's air conditioning went out in her 2003 Toyota Corolla. Our heating and cooling man had already determined it was an electrical problem but was not able to fix it himself. McDonough senior assistant service manager Darlene got us in for service within one business day. They actually took into account the diagnosis already performed by the heating/cooling man rather than starting diagnosis from scratch and charging more money. They completed the service before promised and even agreed to do an oil change before we returned, even though they were busy and we hadn't scheduled the oil change up front. The price was quite reasonable for a dealership. I would definitely return. I trust them and they are professional, courteous, and did the repair correctly.
