"Wrong contractor? We are not located in Maryville, TN."
"First things first. Your home was painted years ago with a less then quality paint. the paint had faded from sun exposure, and the one coat paint job that you had done offered no viable chips to get an accurate sample from. Going from the original paint chip showed that the color was brown to start with, and is no so faded that a touch up will give you brown conduit on a extremely faded wall, verses the white conduit you now have. to remedy this, you will need to consider a full repaint of the foundation area, which in this case is the entire first floor siding. Your Quote was for specific areas on your home. these areas were done and completed. the remaining areas on your house now stand out as being dirty, one coat cheap paint job. the front porch for example has holidays, you can see where the one coat applied before was spread too thin and has streaks, and the paint used was not mildew resistant and is totally covered in black mildew. We are always reluctant to accept touch up projects because of these issues. I can not help but wonder why you did not call the painters that did the project in the first place for you? We left a full gallon of the original foundation paint there. Should you desire, I will personally come out and paint that conduit, BUT I will assume no liability when your conduit is then factory fresh in the original color and your foundation is 5 shades different. your 3% discount was for 3 % of the job, we made the judgement call that it would look worse had we painted it pink.... we left you that gallon of paint. I strive for satisfaction in every job. Instead of posting online, you are free to first call me directly at 540-448-1475 and we can attempt to resolve this issue. AS a foot note, to date, this is my first inkling that you were not satisfied, as you remitted the check for the quoted work, . In the future, before you go posting bad reviews, try communicating with me. Respectfully, Lisa Coles. Owner at Augusta Steam-It Painting Contractors My sons reply is as follows; Hi [Consumer name withheld at their request] I am sorry you feel that I took too long to arrive at your project. A lot of our projects schedule up to a year or more in advance. From the time I received your wife's phone to call confirm the project we completed the work less then 4 weeks later. We had previously painted a rental home of yours that you were very satisfied with, satisfied enough in fact to re-hire us. The one small thing that we did not paint was a simple judgement call on aesthetics of the house. I used all of the color samples provided"
