Took a sewing machine to be repaired. Place looked sketchy. I asked who did repairs? They said guy in Charlottesville VA. does repairs for 3 different stores. This was July 20. Waited a bit and called on machine status. They said not back and we get machines back every Friday. Waited another Friday. Called again. A different person answered who asked my name and details. They said the tech could not fix it and it's been here since July 27th. I never received a call. I checked voice mail -NOTHING ! They were too lazy to even look my info up on the first call I made. Second call I asked why it's taking so long. If I hadn't been persistent I would still be waiting. Now I have to start over on repairs and I've lost 3 weeks of use of the machine. So avoid them. They can't do the job and and they don't care if they leave you hanging.

When I called to inquire of the approximate cost and turn around for a cleaning and tune-up of my sewing machine, I was informed the cost would be $69 and the turn around time could be 7 to 10 days, as the work is done by a sewing machine specialist that comes to this Staunton location once a week.
I delivered my sewing machine and was told they would call me when it was finished.  The specialist had just been there the day before, so it would be a week before they called.  After 10 days and no call from them, I called and inquired.  They indicated the sewing machine was not done, but assured me they would call when it was ready for pick-up.  Another week passed and no call from them.  I called them again and the machine still was not done.  I waited for another week to pass and received no phone calls. I called them again.  The specialist was there that day and my machine would be done later in the day at which time they would call me.  They did call me later that day and indicated that my machine was ready for pick-up.  
All in all they had my sewing machine for 3 weeks, after indicating it would be 7-10 days.  The cost estimate was accurate and the machine is in fine working order once I finally received it back.  I will say the machine had not been cleaned very well, but it does run much better now than before I took it in.

The rubber bobbin wheel was replaced. The tensions were adjusted and the entire machine was cleaned. It works great now! I dropped it off on Friday and picked it up on Monday.
