I've used Strictly Stumps three times over the past five years, most recently in March 2017. The crew is unfailingly professional, always finding ways to minimize "collateral damage" and disruption. Twice they've had to remove a portion of my fence to get the stump grinder in and temporarily move small plants. They always replace everything just as they found it. They're prices are very competitive. I couldn't be more pleased with their service.

Very professional, competitive prices and did a great job. Will be the first I call if another problem. Four men removed a 60-70 year old very tall black gum that came down and was leaning in the crown of an ash tree in my yard. Very careful with my landscaping and raked the area when done. Smaller branches were cut into fireplace lengths for my neighbor. Strongly recommend them.

The removal was fast and efficient. Dana and his crew was careful to move or remove any items from the patio and deck that were in the line of fire. They were efficient, worked well as a team and were amazing to watch. When the job was done they ensured that debris was picked up and the yard was cleaned up.

Strictly Stumps came out and removed a tree that had fallen in my backyard. I have used them twice now and they are great.  My impression is that they are fair and honest, and their reviews are what led me to them in the first place. You will not be disappointed with them. I plan to use them many times as I have lots of trees on my property.

The stumps ranged from about  8 inches to about 15 inches.  We were very happy with the service and thought that the price was a very good value.  We would definitely use them again.

One of the roots was especially difficult to get at because of the driveway apron.  Strictly stumps managed to get at the root.  He was very careful, using baffles to prevent gravel from flying, and  tidied everything up.  Very reasonable price for the work performed, very  courteous worker and I highly recommend the company!

Great job from the time I contacted the company on a Friday afternoon to the job completion the following Wednesday. They replied promptly to my estimate request and then scheduled an appointment to do the work. They arrived early and went right to work. Cleaned everything up and left my yard looking neat with no sign of the stump. Very happy with the job they did and would hire them again!

I called Dean personally because I know his wife.

Dean came out to the house, got my plan, figured out the best strategy for accomplishing the stump removal, came out shortly afterward, took care of the four stumps in short order, and cleaned up after himself as well as can be done by anyone.

His son Wyatt was with him.  I also had some old maple logs cut up and left in the yard last winter by Dominion Power when they cleared the power lines behind my house from over hanging trees and branches.  I bought a new wood stove from Offenbacher's last winter, along with an outdoor log rack, which I had put together and was ready for some firewood.  I asked Dean and Wyatt if they could get a splitter, split the logs into woodstove size, and stack it in my new rack.

They both came out on exactly the same day and time they said they would, with the splitter, completed the job in short order, with the split logs neatly stacked in my new rack, ready to cure and be ready for the next winter.  The charge for this invaluable service?  $250.  Beat that, tree services everywhere...!

I would use and recommend to anyone to use Strictly Stumps in general, and Dean and his son, Wyatt, in particular, for all of their tree-cutting or stump busting needs.
