PNH Maintenance & Repair

Attending young man nice. I was told I couldn't pay using a secured site like PayPal and offered my credit card over the phone. Was charged $7.50 more than the invoice total. Not that this is a big deal, but transparency and upfront honesty is huge to me... and I really don't like giving my credit card number to someone I don't know and have not met over the phone (which I had to do. Apparently, the additional $7.50 was the charge for doing this, which would've been nice to know ahead of time). I was also told I'd receive a formal estimate to repair what was found the morning of and have still yet to receive this. Days later and after having sent a few reminders/ inquiries about this. I hired this company based on the reviews I'd read; however, I'm disheartened to say, a 4 or 5 star rating was simply not reflective of my experience and interactions.

It was July 3rd when we had the emergency. Mr. Phillip Harris, PNH Maintenance was the first to call after we posted our problem. He arrived shortly thereafter and his crew worked into the evening installing a new water tank and electric outlet in our basement. It was then discovered that our 42 year old water pump was kaput. Mr. Harris promised he would be back the following morning, July 4th, and install a new water pump. True to his word they turned up early and worked half a day to ensure we'd have water for our 4th of July. They unselfishly sacrificed part of their holiday for us, when they should have been spending it with their families. What can I say. They were wonderful. Considering the amount of work and time they put in the cost seemed fair. We're still waiting for warranty info on the water tank. Thank you Mr. Harris and your wonderful workers. Great. They were very accommodating to our schedule and split the service while we were working in the basement. So far no signs of returning mold.

They fixed the leak, added an access panel, were very friendly and helpful. It was a great experience. Phil was really good about calling to say when he'd be there. We'll definitely use him and his team again.

Phil came late, but did call first to let us know.  He was a wonderful professional, skilled and knowledgeable.  We had another plumber previously, but he didn't know much about well systems.  Phi was a pro, and step by step diagnosed the problem, found the leak and fixed it.  I would recommend him to anyone, he was great.

Fantastic. Despite our installing new hardwood floors in the middle, which impacted timing, Phil was very flexible and got the job done. In an instance when Phil could have taken the easy path and reinstalled an existing level of insulation, he instead worked with us to figure out a better option. Phil is capable of performing the work some might hire a GC for, but you ultimately get a far superior level of service and you know who it is who is performing the work.
This is the third major job Phil has completed for us. There's no better vote of confidence in that we keep asking Phil to come back into our home.
As an aside, I also plan to hire Phil to accompany me on a walk-through of any future home purchases in the areas as I trust his extensive, well rounded knowledge and expertise better than the home inspectors I've worked with.

Phil does an outstanding job. He is not a typical GC that still has to be watched while subbing out work to others. He performs everything as if it were his own home and holds himself to a high standard.
