Oscar Garcia

Well, I cannot remember how I found Oscar but when he quoted me $2000.00 to paint my main floor and upstairs (approximately 10 rooms, a couple hallways, trim and doors ? 1900SqFt in all), I thought it was a steal. He started work the next day. I gave him a key to my home and at one point even gave him my credit card to purchase the paint with. He is very trust worthy. One day he stayed to work while my wife and I let the house in the evening and he locked the front door and left the porch light on for us. He is originally from El Salvador and when we were talking I mentioned I loved Hispanic food. One day he brought me some authentic El Salvadorian food to try. Any ways, he finished everything in 7 days. He even came back one day to touch up some areas he wasn?t happy with. He did a great job! Here is the real story about Oscar. Two days ago, my wife, who is pregnant, put on her Face Book page how much she hated painting because we were painting our basement. She put in her comments that she wished she had budgeted to have Oscar come and paint our basement too. The very next day, I was sitting at home watching TV when my doorbell rang. When I opened the door, I found Oscar standing there. At that time, I was unaware what my wife had posted on Face Book. Oscar said he was there to help paint our basement bath room and new bedroom. I said, ?Oscar, I really don?t have money right now to pay you to paint.? He said he saw what my wife had posted on Face Book and felt in his heart to come over and paint. I asked what she posted because I didn?t know. Oscar said it didn?t matter and he would not take no for an answer. I was shocked. I asked Oscar, ?Why would you do this?? he said since he moved to America from El Salvador everyone he has met and worked for have been so nice to him, including me (we recommended him a couple of times) and he just wanted to help my wife and I out. I was speechless and I had tears in my eyes. I had never met someone so ultraistic and thoughtful as Oscar. I told my wife that evening that Oscar is a better man than I am because I don?t know if I would have given up two evenings to paint someone?s house, whom I barely know, for FREE, out of the goodness of my heart. I am not saying he is going to work for free, he deserved an honest days pay. What I am saying, if you want the kindest, most honest man to paint or drywall your home, you could not ask for a better person than Oscar. I cannot recommend him more highly.
