Kelly Electric Corporation

Mr. Kelly had a contract to install a GE 35K Back up Generator which was installed mid 2016 . Within approx. 6 mos. the back up generator did not function. Mr. Kelly said it was a faulty "fuel valve" that GE was having problems with. He decided and said he would disconnect the fuel valve which would keep the unit working until he was able to get a new part. From the date of installation Mr. Kelly had the maintenance contract on the unit for 2.5 years, servicing the unit 2 times a year. I repeatedly asked when the fuel valve would be replaced because I was worried the unit would stop operating. Mr. Kelly would say the part had not come in but the unit would function. In Aug. 2018 the unit would not function, when power was lost and when Mr. Kelly was called with the emergency he would not come out for an emergency call stating "GE doesn't pay overtime rates". I fired Mr. Kelly from the maintence contract and asked him to complete the replacement of the fuel valve that was needed to be fixed on the generator from the date of installation. He would not. I had to hire an another electrician to get the fuel valve problem resolved and get the unit working. Kelly electric is unreliable, and does not fulfill his contractual obligations.
