Crew arrived and removed old concrete pool deck, lot of hard work.  Minor damage to existing plaster pool wall.  Removed all debris.  Removed old retaining wall and prepped for new brick wall.  This portion of the job went very well.  Prepped area for  12 x 16 foot slab.  All jobs were worked on concurrently, with very limited breaks, very hot days.... 
The pool deck work lacked attention to detail and shows many different levels of skills, and are evident with the final product.  Pool deck concrete cracked in several places within 24 hours.  One section of the pool deck was removed and replaced with new concrete due to bad workmanship.  The cantilever edge around the pool is uneven and misaligned. 
The skill level of the workers varied a lot, and few spoke English.
I would use this company again for simple jobs, but not any work requiring detailed preparation, or execution.

We set an appointment for an estimate and they never arrived. In fairness, this was the day after the big Derecho storm. We thought that between the power outages and phones being down they may not have been able to get to Alexandria from Stafford, or even call us. We left a message stating as much and let them know we understood. We only requested they get in touch and reschedule. It's been ten days and we've never heard from them.

They were very prompt and the job was excellent. The price was good. It was basically a small job of stamped concrete and a lot of companies don't even bid it because it was small. They came out and did the job and the price fell in line with what I expected it to be. I asked when he could start and he said the next day. He brought his crew out and had it done in a day. It still looks beautiful. I would absolutely use him again.
