Grasshappens

Company did not show up over half the time, and performed zero of the extra work required in the contract and paid for.  I would not use him again, very unreliable.  I had to take him to small claims court only to find out the address listed for his business is not his address and I can't recoup money because of it.  I have emails stating he knows he owes me a refund and would send a check out (over two months ago).

He showed up less the half of the time stated in contract to mow, and didn't complete any of the extra services paid for. Tried to work out a settlement that just added time or services to the current contract but never showed up.    After filing a small claims court lawsuit, it was found out that the address he uses for the business is not actually his and now can't recoup money that he acknowledge was due to me. 

Removal of a large tree (to include grinding up of the stump) on our front lawn left a large area of torn-up grass/ground, ie., a hole, deep ruts where numerous spreading roots had been, etc.  We took away all the wood chips ourselves but then tired out, wanted someone else if possible at a reasonable price to repair the lawn.  Tree company (Mitchell Tree & Stump) personnel had recommended a gentleman named Brandon as possibly someone who would do a good job, and had given us a phone number.  A bit of internet research determined Brandon McCreedy was the owner of a Stafford company named GrassHappens.  Because of our outstanding experiences with Mitchell and an A rating of GrassHappens by the BBB, we contacted GrassHappens.  Although there was some phone tag, this company in the end proved reliable, competent, and professional.  I was at work on the day of the repair, but my better half tells me the courteous crew member did a great job, i.e.., had several loads of topsoil delivered, professionally tamped down each layer, seeded well, and covered everything with straw.  It is dfficult to find competent, reliable businesses that are willing to do relatively small jobs at a reasonable price - based on this experience GrassHappens appears to be one of them.
