HONEST, HONEST, HONEST. Hard working. He and his workers arrived on time each and every day. They carefully cleaned up every day. Their goal is a perfect project and they won't leave until you are satisfied. You don't meet people like this very often. If you need a patio, retaining wall, or most anything else, contact Mark. Mark and his crew did an excellent job. They were very professional, accommodating, and communicated with us very well. The finished product looks great and we will definitely have Eagles Hardscape back to do more work for us in the future.

Highly recommended. Mr Shelton brought our ideas for a new patio to life, and was flexible even when we changed some details a few times prior to the build. He and his crew were quick and courteous throughout the process, but most importantly, the finished work is beautiful with much attention to detail: little things, like joining a new walkway with an existing driveway, are blended and seamless.

Entire project took five work days to complete. Very pleased with the results. Have not seen a better looking paver driveway anywhere between Fredericksburg, Richmond and D.C. Owner, Mark Shelton, does outstanding work. Will hire him again for additional paver projects.

The work went well. Mr. Shelton provided the estimate and worked with me to schedule the work. The crew arrived as scheduled and completed the work as described. The workers were very knowledgeable and respectful. The end product is exactly what I envisioned. I would hire this contractor again.

2 years ago leveled existing patio and built new slate landing and four steps down to patio the width of 6 ft sliding door to replace old wood steps.  Patio and steps all done well.  Recently one of the bull nose pavers on the steps become loose.  Mark showed up shortly after I called and noticed the entire row had been moved slightly forward probably due to ice.  Had workers pull entire row of steps out and reset.  All is well.  Responsive, professional, highly recommended if you want good work done well.

They came out and looked at the job. The owner came out and and looked at the place, came back later and did the work himself. They did what needed to be done. I thought it was a tad pricey but they did good work so I was happy with it.

This company was a pleasure to work with. I am very happy with the work performed. We had horrible drainage issues be3cause our sump pump drained right near our house. Mark recommended we bury it all the way near the back of our yard away from our deck and future patio. We also contracted them to install around a 300 square Ft patio (pavers). Very happy with the outcome. We wanted it done before the 4th and they made sure to squeeze us in there. Mark was happy to answer all of our questions and concerns, Very knowledgeable. They provided us with samples of the pavers. They had great input with the color and design. It was completed in about 2 days. There was some rain so the initial start date was moved. The workers did great. I barely even noticed they were in my backyard. I am very happy with the completed work so far. I would work with them again!

Eagles Hardscape are certainly a professional team able to perform landscape expertise.  They are real knowledgeable on materials and colors.  They built my new home front entrance and walk way in a short period of time and as promised.  I love it!  And now I can?t stop looking at my home.  They were able to understand what I wanted and once completed it looked like they read my mind; it was exactly what I had in vision.  The workers were proficient, respectful, and ensure the area was clean and neat before the end of the day.  I will definitely contact Eagles Hardscape once I am ready to do my backyard.  Highly recommended!      

Eagles Hardscape was recommended to us by a neighbor. We hired them to build a large paver patio with a stacked-stone fireplace. Mark was always responsive and pleasant. His crew was hard-working and courteous. They did an excellent job, and we have recommended them to all our friends and neighbors.  Wish we could post a photo to show you how beautiful the patio and fireplace turned out.

Everything about working with Eagles Hardscape was great.  They were easy to deal with, responsive, detail orientated and most of all did a fantastic job.  The brick patio turned out better than we could have ever imagined!

Quality of workmanship is truly superb - BOTH the deck and the walkway.  Very customer oriented.  Very cost competitive.  The company's owner, Mark Shelton, worked with us to finalize the design and ensure a very attractive final product.  Would I recommend Eagle Hardscape for any exterior project?  Absolutely!  

Mark was great to work with -- he was punctual with both our original appointment and providing the estimate (while it wasn't the lowest estimate that I got, he was the first to come out and give me an estimate, and I got a much better feel for him when talking to him, so I used his company anyway -- this is why I gave a B for pricing), and here's the kicker -- his crew started the job 2 days earlier than they thought they'd be able to, and finished the same day! Great work, great timing, would definitely use them again!

Mark arrived and listened to our desires. He laid out a plan and presented the contract with detailed pricing and schedule. Project was completed as contracted.

Process went well but was prolonged due to bad weather and Thanksgiving holiday.  Mark is very nice and gives you confidence that job will be done correctly and to your satisfaction.  A couple of problems due to miscommunication between Mark and workers and also due to work being done while Mark was on vacation were quickly resolved.  Workers were efficient and cleanup was excellent.  We would use Eagles Hardscape again without hesitation. One other company was contacted concerning work and estimate given -Eagles Hardscape beat other estimate by far.

We are so pleased with the end results of a project that we had been putting off for years. Called several contractors (a few on Angie's) that came to give estimates, and never heard back from them.

 Mark came, put our vision on paper, and carried it through. The new landscape matches the relaxed feel of our home - our field stone walkway around the house looks like it has been there for years...in a good way, with grass growing lovingly around each stone. We will try to get some pictures posted.

 Our front yard was slowing washing away...years of erosion, replaced water pipes and construction wear had left us with rocks and weeds. We now have a series of terraced curving walls, cobblestone and fieldstone walkways, a quality-built shed and jealous neighbors.

.All of Mark's subcontractors and employees demonstrated an exemplary work ethic, which is what caught the attention of our neighbors.  For the winning combination of expertise, creativity hard work, and graciousness, you must call Eagles Hardscape. 

Crew was on time, worked well, and did a great job. I consistently get unsolicited praise for the walkway by anyone out to the house. It really came out well. I will hire Eagle again when further improvements are needed.

They did a great job of taking a design and applying it to my backyard. They work hard and are very personable. They brought in the machinery to prepare the yard, install two walkways and a set of stairs. The nicest part of the job was the work they did to support the hot tub to include working with the electrician to run the electric under the patio and along side the hot tub...an extremely professional job overall.

I believe the owner?s name is Mark Shelton. I called him and he returned my call a day or two later. He was willing to give a free estimate. We set a date and time, which was yesterday at 3 p.m. He called me right as 3 o?clock was approaching apologizing that he was going to be a couple of minutes late. He was just about 5 minutes late and I am very timely person and time is very important to me. So I would give him great reviews on that. He was very professional and pleasant. He was very receptive to what I needed done. We needed a retaining wall and we liked a walkway. He proceeded while on the premises and it took him quite sometime, better than an hour, to assess the job. He immediately wrote me a proposal. The estimate was for a retaining wall on one full side of the home to prevent further erosion. That would also have an aesthetic look. I would have liked him to have returned my call sooner.

The jobs went very well. The owner, Mark Shelton, was very courteous, professional and meticulous. He spent well over an hour measuring and taking notes etc just for my estimate. If he was late he always called in advance and would then show up when he said he'd arrive. He also always removed his shoes before coming in to my house when the weather was wet. :) I was pleased with all of his work. I only saw my new retainer wall briefly -because it has been covered in snow since mid-Dec - but it looked great and Mr. Shelton said he'd come back in the spring if necessary to repair any cracks in the mortar caused by the snow and cold weather. I plan on hiring him again.
