Custom Flooring Plus

Description of Work: Dana first did a great job on the bathrooms renovations. I actually got him other jobs through my referrals. A year ago he failed to complete a job to repair insulation on the house which he was paid to do. Also he did a poor job on pouring a cement walk and patio over two years ago. He promised to repair the problems and do the insulation work but never did after repeated promises- 80 text messages. I will have to seek remedy in Stafford county small claims court as I could no longer wait as a tenant was moving into the house.

Description of Work: Gutted our kitchen and completely remodeled

Description of Work: We met Dana as a sub contractor and hired him to be our main contractor. We watched him apply his attention to detail to our kitchen: he removed the old cabinets, opened push throughs that became breakfast bars from our kitchen into the dinning and living rooms, installed new drywall, installed new cabinets and appliances, ran new water lines to our refrigerator, installed new pipes for a new garbage disposal, and painted the walls. He was a skilled professional contruction worker and a master carpenter. Dana was always timely and punctual. He began his working days very early in the morning and offered to work on Saturdays and Sundays to meet his deadlines. He was neat and clean during the jobs and cleaned every day before quitting time. Dana was friendly and easy to work with. He is an excellent listener and offers excellent advise when asked.

Description of Work: This was our most recent experience with Custom Flooring Plus. In this job, we had hardwood flooring and cabinets replaced after having a water leak caused by our dishwasher. Dana installed new hardwood floors and cabinets in our kitchen. The floor not only covered our kitchen, but also our hallway. (We live in a one story house.) This process required him to move out our stove, refrigerator, and a set of cabinets that did not require replacement. He moved moved everything as he needed to work in that space. The first service (separate from the sevice listed above) he performed at our house was in March of 2009 and included: cutting out a section of the wall between our kitchen and living room and installing a 6 foot bar. He also installed cabinets on the kitchen side and installed recessed lighting in the kitchen and living room on either side of the pass through. He cut the wall to match the arch in the walkway that connected out living room to our kitchen. On the wall under the wainscoating ao that when we sit at the bar we don't damage a painted wall.
